Hey everyone... I was wondering, especially after yesterday's game (and the previous one against the Luongo-less Caf***s)..... what do you think is the reason for the Wings losing games in this manner? I'm talking about uninspired play, 1,2 and 3-goal leads given up, etc... Now I know that their record is pretty darn good, I'm taking nothing for granted... But with the imaginary cup hangover aside, what do you think the Red Wings need to do to dominate like they did last year? Does it start with Babs? the defensive coaches? Ozzie?

I might need some clarification here.. That "slash" the OP is talking about is absolutely not a penalty. The motion is upward, not downward toward the stick. A slashing motion is always downward, and this can't be considered for a call,Lilja didn't have a good grip on his stick, this totally doesn't look like a penalty, sorry if I'm offending anyone Plus, Detroit won, so who cares!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

You know what? regardless of who was in front of him, Ozzie played sublime hockey ALL season long. I'm not comparing him to Lidstrom, but they're in the same category for the playoffs: Lidstrom's play was so simple and effective, not flashy
