Actually, 4-6 months is the standard for ACL reconstruction. It's really become routine surgery, less than 3 hours. And I can say from personal experience that after rehab, your legs, and your whole body is stronger than ever. Good luck K!

althought that might be true at the moment NN , Detroitdan is saying what a lot of people are thinking.... Seriously, the Wings are a great team, they can get out of this hole. Hey all, I don't know if this belongs in a thread on its own, but I was wondering, how come the Wings ALWAYS meet a hot goalie in the playoffs? Why does it seem like they are the ones making that goalie hot? and, why can't the Wings get a goalie who steals games? BY THE WAY, I know that nonetheless, Hasek (and Ozzie) have been very good in nets these series.. It was a couple of bad bounces, FOR THE MOST PART

One question for you all though.. What does your employer think of the beard? Does it still look professionally presentable? Because that's my problem. As a physiotherapist or a pharmacist there's no way you can get away with a playoff beard.. I'm not a geologist anymore

You're half right C-dub, yes a first decisive win is key in the playoffs, but at the same time the players can't "slack-off" (for the lack of a better word) in the final turn of the regular season.

They can't be 100% SURE it's a first degree sprain without an MRI, but in Physical therapy there are knee ligament stress tests that we can do to test the laxity in the joint. We also test the "end-feel" to see whether the resistance felt is characteristic of a complete tear (called "empty end-feel, i.e. no resistance).
