Jimmy D called it, this season is a really tough one for the Wings, but how else can this inconsistency be explained? Are you guys doctors? I didn't think so . Franzen et al are world-class athletes. They stay in shape for a living... 4 months is thus very much possible. All these guys do is exercise & get treatment... Expecting a regular person to get back to 100/100 in 4 months is extremely rare!!! Besides the procedure of creating a new ligament takes a VERY long time to finalize. Even franzen knows he'll be100/100 weeks from now

Hey all! First off, absolutely great game!! This game had been announced a sell-out at least a week ago. And it was announced as such today again. However, it was very easy to see almost complete sections of empty seats at The Joe.. This was a Sunday afternoon game, not a weeknight game, against arguably the best team in the league... Why all the empty seats? It's obviously not due to the poor economic status that has plagued the state in recent years, because the tickets were ACTUALLY sold... I'm from Montreal, so could someone please enlighten me? It's been bothering me since last year

On TSN they interviewed one of his teammates from the Canada Juniors (09 and 10), Della Rovere... He said he had spoken to Cormier, and that he had try to get out of the way "but that those elbows, they get up"............. Wow, what an excuse! Well those kinds of players, they should "sit out"!!!!!!!!!

Not to derail this thread.. But do any of you remember how Lebda played against Chicago during last year's playoffs, when Lidstrom was sidelined with a broken ********??? He ate up a lot of minutes and looked absolutely fantastic... If he can get back to that (which I think is more than possible) a lot of people here would worship the guy In spite of his lackluster play, I still think the Wings are using him adequately. He's got great speed, and his first pass is almost always a beaut.... PS: I know it wasn't a broken ********.. just trying to lighten up the thread lol

I wouldn't term this as a suicide pass. . After all, the only reason Mitchell was able to pull off that hit is because he just got out the penalty box. Otherwise he wouldn't have had any business being at that place during an offensive breakout by the Hawks

No, absolutely not. You don't get tired of winning, it doesn't get old! There's no way they feel like they have nothing to prove.
