So I finally got with the program, joined the rest of the world, and got an iPod. Sweet. Problem: iTunes requires Windows 2000 or better, and I haven't bothered upgrading, ever, and I still run Windows 98. that's gonna require some extra work, I'll have to coordinate my PC with my XP-running laptop.

Believe me, nobody around here shed too many tears about Regehr being gone he kind of puts a face on Calgary's physicality. I think Game 2 will be a whole new series again. With Regehr maybe back and Bertuzzi probably back, it'll put a brand new face on things.

I'd expect nothing less from a guy whose SN is Wendel Clark But I agree. I'd expect nothing less from the Flames either. I don't think there's such a thing as overreacting when your goalie's run. It's not like they're gonna stop and analyze the video and argue amongst themselves whether or not Cleary did it on purpose. Iginla lost his cool and the guy wearing the C should be behaving himself better, but other than that the Flames did what they should when they know they just got embarrassed.

No, he wasn't. But he wasn't paying attention either. Definitely didn't do it on purpose, but as the announcers said you gotta know where the goalie's at. Besides, they're gonna call it every time, and the Flames are gonna protect their goalie, so that's really that.

Well, I'm sure CP will be alight tonight complaining about Cleary running Kipper.....

Hasek's a big boy. I think he'll get over it. Might take a couple days and a shrink session, but he'll get over it.

Well, the first period was nice, but that one was EXCELLENT. Any goalie besides Kiprusoff, and this game is about 7-0 by now. Let's play solid, solid defense for 20 more minutes, and get the win.

Maybe that's why McGeough got picked. Bad calls going both ways = consistency, and consistency = good. Then again, I don't think this game has been reffed that badly. I wish the Goo would make it clear when a penalty is on the Wings so Hasek doesn't take off for the bench and leave an open net. That's on the ref, not Dom.

Exxxxactly! I do believe I've been trying to convince people this is a good matchup for the exact reason that Calgary fell head over heels into the playoffs. I'd much rather play a team like that, than one that caught fire for a month to make a furious sprint for the 8th spot.

Well, the puck was out in the NO GOALIE ZONE outside the trapezoid, and Dom was searching his equipment for it. I'd say he was definitely a bit disoriented. Hasek's a veteran goalie, he knows if he gets run over in the crease it's a penalty so there's no reason for him to duck and cover to protect himself.

loo, I know you love your Dom, but he hadn't the faintest idea where that puck was. When you're turning your head back and forth and your back is to the puck, you're lost.

Kipper's standing on his head this period. If we didn't already have a couple goals I'd be getting that horrible can't-put-nuthin-past-this-guy feeling in my gut again that's been a staple of these last few playoff runs.
