I have to tip my hat to Malkin. The guy really is playing as hard as he can....but he's ******* gassed. He's got nothing in the tank at all. He's gotta be upchucking between periods. But he's still taking his shifts.

No predictions from me on who scores the game-winner. But I believe like I've never believed anything else with this team: somebody in red will score it.

I say we're 20 minutes from the Cup. I mean it. Pens are down to 5 defensemen. Wings are applying all the pressure.

We're a magnificent Fleury save away from being tied up. Other than the first two minutes when the Wings treated the puck like it was radioactive, that was an excellent period. All the chances were ours. Another period like that will be just the thing. POSITIVE THINKING!

I like the attitude change. Lot of hyperventilating to start the intermission. Hopefully the Wings have calmed down just the same way. THINK POSITIVE!

Agreed. This is much like Game 3 in Dallas....Stars tie it up on a stupid lucky bounce off a Wing skate......Wings win 5-2 anyway. I'm expecting an excellent second period.

Man calm down. The Wings had plenty of chances. Second period, they bury 'em. This period was not that bad people. The scoreboard says otherwise, but seriously. Babcock does not need to yell and scream. This is a veteran professional team. They need to loosen up and just play, not get all nervous.

That was the worst good period I've ever seen. Seriously....we got our chances, and plenty of 'em. Pittsburgh's defense has been breaking down and recovering at the last second. The goals will come if they keep up the pressure.

He finished the season with 27 goals, despite spending much of the season in the bottom 6. With a regular top six role, can Franzen score 40 goals? No. 3. Will the Wings have a 100 point man? a 50 goal man? If yes, who? If Zetterberg and Datsyuk both miss no more than 5 games, they'll both reach the 100 point mark but not 50 goals. If neither are that healthy, nobody hits 100. 4. Will a rookie defenseman find himself with a regular roster spot? If yes, who? Yes. I'll go with Ericsson. 5. Will Howard back-up Ozzie with a winning record and a good statistical showing? Yes. 6. Out of Filppula, Samuelsson, and Hudler, who tallies the most points? Most goals? Flip, and Flip. 7. Which Darren makes the top 13 forwards - McCarty, Helm or Both? Helm. 8. Does Kopecky score either of 10 goals or 20 points? No, but I like his style so I hope I'm wrong. 9. His playoff scoring rate would equate to 54 points on a regular season. Can Niklas Kronwall break 50 points next regular season? Can he? Yes. Will he? I don't think so. 10. Predict the number of Red Wing wins for next season, and their number of wins against Chicago ( ). 52 and 6.
