Either way, he's too intruiging to not get a contract. He has potential to be a Simon type of player. Exactly what this team needs

That's my wife, Jessica Alba. She doesn't know it yet, and neither does my wife Too bad I'm not a Mormon

I thought it was Datsyuk? What are they saying? It's a done deal?
-
What'd you think of him? He had some "attitude problems" there, no?
-
Maybe there is something here http://edmsun.canoe.ca/Sports/Hockey/2005/...190516-sun.html Edmonton is shopping for a #1 center.....hmmmm
-
It's true, you're not kidding, which is the sad part....
-
No, he's a guy that gets the cheap penalties, he's not the type to drop the gloves at all. His PIM's are very misleading in that regard.
-
You are right Barnsey....hopefully he develops into a tough D-Man with a mean streak.
-
For toughness there's... Amadio Big Snake Herring Bootland All the other guys are the usual......Amadio is GR bound, it'd be nice if he got a good look by the parent though, Big Snake will impress, just don't know if there's much room, Herring I don't know much about, but will get some info on him...
-
Why do you have Maclean and Manlow? They're GR bound...I'm not even sure that Manlow is signed

Proposal: Dats - C Hudler - C Derek Meech - D 3rd round 2006 pick Straight up for Aleksey Morozov - LW/RW Kris Beech - C Shane Endicott - C Dick Tarnstrom - D then sign Andreas Johansson (2 way contract for 1 year for 700k) Jason Holland (2 way contract for 4 years at 3 million) Thoughts?
-
This deal would be too good to be true. No way it will happen! It makes NO sense, Edmonton can't sign Smyth to a long term deal, so they'll trade for Datsyuk? And give up a draft pick? No way! I'd build Holland a statue in front of JLA if he pulled this off......
-
Meh....I'd rather have Darcy Tucker
-
Great signing, he's a good 3rd/4th line guy and not aftraid of the front of the net. Not known to drop the gloves, but he's gritty! I've always liked Ellis, glad they showed some faith in him with the 2yr deal, he will be a Red Wing, if not this year, than next for sure....
-
Why would we trade for Marchment when we can sign him for nothing?
-
Which team would get the Oates and which team get's "Federko'd"? I like Steen, but not for Zetterberg
-
Where did you hear this? You don't have to divulge the name, just wondering if it's some heehaw with a blog making this up is all......
-
What do you guys think of.... Redden/Spezza for Datsyuk/Kronwall? -Both teams get proven stars and both teams get potential
-
My point exactly
-
You forgot Amadio on defense. I doubt Todd Jackson will be anything, he struggled in the AHL last year.
-
Bombardir is neither tough nor big...

I actually like this kid a lot. I think he has potential and I hope he sees alot of ice time in Grand Rapids. I also hope this makes Jiri Hudler expendable. From what I know about this kid, he was very small but worked on filling out his frame. He's not physical, but he's not weak, and I think he'll make the NHL faster than Hudler. I just hope Detroit doesn't let him take a big beating and saddles him with big, physical wingers.
-
I didn't necessarily want Gratton, to me, it was the principle. He was worth a gamble for sub 1mm, IMHO.
-
He was a force for years but has had shoulder problems, serious ones. The year off helped him I'm sure, and if he plays up to his capabilities, he'll be a stud. He can score, fight and is great on face offs. I'd rather take a chance on him then a guy who couldn't find his own defensive zone with a GPS system.
-
I sense he's GR Griffs bound, but I hope you're right
