this age, confidence, maturity might be hampering us right now. maybe that is why holland brought in cole and zidlicky. maybe he saw it hoping for something?? should we make it to the playoffs i have to wonder if the guys we rely on can hack it. i guess we'll find out.

i missed the first two periods and just watched the highlights. first goal obvious turnover, howard couldn't see it though second goal, terrible coverage but still something you expect your goalie to stop! not like it was roofed third goal was flat out terrible fourth goal, kronwall leads nyquist with a suicide pass almost in his skates, turned over, puck in net with a perfect shot----this has been our biggest problem lately----putting the puck where they are instead of where they are going to be or just flat out not putting it in a position where our forwards can do anything with it fifth goal was just as bad as the third----that's gotta be stopped SJ had plenty of their own turnovers last night too which led to a couple of ours

giveaways, goaltending, d zone coverage, careless passes, weak plays. just piss poor. even if we make the playoffs nothing good will come of it unless we fix something real quick. i don't know how we go from so good to so bad so quickly. it can obviously be fixed since we were good. i just don't know how.

i really don' believe it matters if ottawa leapfrogs us or not. it's too late to get a high pick so me might as well continue the streak. but i don't think it matters who we play in the first round. at this current state we ain't beatin' no one. hopefully that changes in the next 3 weeks.

i like doan's passion but i agree. his douchery is usually pretty evident.

D does need to tighten up....big time....however you pay your goalie to make saves. those were weak goals tonight. i'll let it slide on the deflected one.

That was piss poor. Howard needs to know who is in his crease and where. He changed the angle of his stick and put it off the player. Keep your stick straight and that goal doesnt happen.

huge win, we clearly play better against the West still. not good unless we get to the finals we have a tough time with tb, mtl, nyr's style of play.

because they combined with howard's inability to move a puck are a terrible combination. they are constantly flustered. i still can't get over how many times we have control in our zone and can't make one single pass to gain the zone. we are sooooo bad at breakouts. our first pass kills us and any offense we have a chance at.

i could care less about val. watching him does nothing for me. i love tatar's passion. nyquist not so much. i don't hate the guy but i really like tatar.

this is the fear you run into when you suck f*** in the shootout. 5 shootout wins earlier and we'd be laughing right now. instead playoff danger. would be a monumental collapse if we don't do something soon.

i love tatar but i'm starting to think nyquist is the expendable one. package him for a puck moving right handed d man. andersson can suck a dick, move weiss if you're not going to play him. just no skill on this team and not big enough to play a different style. it's crazy to think where we were and where we are now. the deadline has destroyed us somehow.

i was going to fly down to florida too and watch both these games. my 11 year old son is even glad we didn't.

tampa dominated that third period. we could barely get out of our end for the first 10 minutes. i just can't believe how bad our defenseman actually are at moving the puck. with this s***ass D it's almost like you have to play mrazek so he can move the puck for them.

this team is ******* pathetic as f*** right now. our defense is absolutely dreadful. breakouts are killing this team. we cannot complete a tape to tape pass ever. and i mean ever. then how many god damn times can they dump it in right to bishop? are they ******* retarded? when will you learn. severe lack of skill as well. i'm telling ya. the playoffs are going to be hard to make let alone win a game.

i'm so unbelievably disappointed in sportsnet right now. playing the end of a ******* recorded tennis match because it has a canadian in it instead of playing what is scheduled. yes the match ran long in third set. BRUTAL!!! they have 4 other channels that they could switch over to. it's not on any of the centre ice channels either.
