i don't think detroit played that poorly. we had plenty of chances. typical stuff. few defensive miscues and what i would call unacceptable goals due to bad positioning by mrazek. and that was the game.

being close to Oshawa, i've had the privilege of watching Lindros, Tavares, Marc Savard etc. JT and the Big E were on another level like Mcdavid. Never got to see Crosby as a kid. now, will probably never to get see Mcdavid before he jumps ship to the NHL which sucks balls.

he actually said this yesterday. i believe in an interview with pierre. weiss on the 4th line is useless. the emergence of sheahan has made weiss expendable. if they thought sheahan would be this far a long this fast they never would have signed weiss. so sheahan is our problem.

i say yes to marchenko and to mrazek. i really think we should give weiss a shot at the job he came here for. let him centre the 2nd line for the rest of the season and see how he handles it. it can't be any worse than what is happening right now anyway.

we're going to lose this game but with a much better effort. post game comments discuss a turnaround in play and seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. i'm hoping reverse psychology works here.
