What would it take to scoop this kid outta Nashville? Was watching their game last night and forgot he was even there. Nashville top four is Weber, Josi, Del Zotto, Jones. Where does that leave Ellis? Very offensive minded in junior. Right handed shot, PP guy. Younger Rafalski type? Kronwall Dekeyser Ericcsson Ellis Smith Lashoff/stay at home vet?

is that ice time sheltered though because he can't crack the top four? which is not really a huge negative considering who is in their top four currently. a good comparison i think would be sheltering tatar on the fourth line. how good would he be playing 7 minutes a game? i dunno.....i don't see holland making a huge splash or anything....maybe an ellis type is all he is capable of.

it was a good fight but that type of ending is not uncommon. fighters have a crazy type of respect for each other. i've seen this clip posted all over the place like it's never happened before. -

aside from smith's pass to smyth i thought he played well. i actually haven't noticed many of those boneheaded plays at all lately. franzen again frustrating. we count on this guy especially now and he's non existent. tatar and sheahan are our best right now. crazy. -

pp cost us this game....1-0 lead and we could have made it real difficult on columbus in the first 10 minutes had we scored more. but yes, our D is horrendous

gus plays 1 game, sits for a week, plays 2 games, sits for 10 days, and so on.... i actually had a discussion with a friend yesterday wondering if he would be injured after last night. that is beyond ridiculous.

i would rather him not play in the olympics. i'm really leaning towards the nhl bowing out all together and leave the olympics to the amateurs. i was trying to pinpoint anything i could as well. considering he was in the shootout in the WC. it reminds me of the SC finals against pitt when he was getting a charlie horse drained and everyone was very hush hush.

ya nothing else makes sense at this point. certainly not a groin like everyone said in the beginning. very frustrating but why lie about it? plus if it is a concussion he has no idea if he will play in the olympics or not.
