our forwards are way too soft for playoff hockey. our defense move the puck too slowly and make very poor decisions. -
pretty good dive but honestly a suspendable action if it's not a sedin you ain't down 3-0 due to dives my friend

I agree to the post above as well. about the skill thing. I find our bottom six thinking too much that they are top six. there is not enough of a grinding aspect to their game. they're too soft right now thinking they can out skill when they cannot. get back to your game bottom six....hit, grind, dump and chase. this team lacks an identity. -
Concerned - we might not make it in to the playoffs

I am quite concerned. We do still control our own destiny since we face dallas the last game..... looking at the schedules as well I would say Detroit has an advantage over Dallas's schedule and definitely an advantage over Columbus. hopefully it works out. -

must win tonight.....must get at least 1 point tomorrow I don't know why i'm so insistent on this team making the playoffs and fully expecting them to get bounced in the first round. weird -
i'm gonna call this one a "schedule" loss. 1 home game sandwiched in between 7 west time zone games is a bit ridiculous.

I think everyone here including myself has no idea what goes on behind the scenes with a coach and gm and team. I'm not saying just to trust them because they are in charge but all these decisions are easier to make for us when nothing is at stake.
