i would say that 9 out of 10 times that goal wouldn't count. bertuzzi's goal was not totally innocent either though. whatever suspension fistric got i expect kronwall to get the same. just for leaving his feet. in the end vancouver so far has been much much better than detroit this game.

this is what separates pav from every other player i've ever seen. he's so unpredictable. you never know going into a corner whether he's going for the puck first, gonna let you take it then strip you, throw the shoulder, allow you to hit him first. he is a true game changer and sneaky as hell.

this was a really tough loss to swallow. shoulda had this one. i thought stuart and kronwall were brutal. as fantastic as howard has been all season he cost us this game with his poor decisions behind the net. 3rd goal held on too long...penalty 4th goal instead of just passing to kronwall he fires it up high on the glass...goal once the nashville announcers started rhyming off our stats about 3 goals for and leading going into the third i knew we were done. just can't say s*** like that.

our shots on net is gonna be quite low by the end of this. no real chances to score at all.

Until the buzzer sounds, i firmly believe we can win every game. while i believe this as well, they still need to show consistency. they can absolutely dominate a game when they want to. their desire sometimes lacks. but aside from that horrendous 6 game losing streak, they've been lights out.

exactly. we all know detroit is good, but probably not good enough at this stage.

everyone knows they have the potential to get it done but why would anyone believe it. they honestly give us no reason to believe they will fulfill that potential. u could literally say the same thing about 15 teams in this league.

this team has a lot of issues right now too. again stl and sj once they got rattled everything went to s***. 5 minute pp was terrible against stl--game over after that. the goal to tie the game at 1 against sj--game over after that. both games we came out strong for 10 minutes, scored first but couldn't get that 2 goal lead. we're too experienced to get flustered but it's happening. teams are way too close now and if you make mistakes you lose. can't get away with just talent alone anymore. we need a goal scorer and a bottom 6 with more size/grit. get a goal scorer and you can move cleary to the bottom 6 where he belongs. hudler is useless. too small for bottom 6, can't create on his own and isn't good enough for top 6. who knows what to do with bert though. 3rd line i guess? not sure. cause he'll never get traded. not necessarily in this order but Z, D, FLIP FRANZEN, ?, ? HELM, CLEARY, BERT ABBY, MILLER, EAVES but then what to do with homer, emmerton, brunnstrom, hudler? man this lineup is seriously mediocre.

i think a lot of people on this board are dreaming. obviously just my opinion but i think we can all agree that holland loves being loyal. holmstrom will never get traded. cleary probably never will and i believe has a no trade clause. franzen has a contract for the next 100 years. the problem is our top end talent and way too many bottom 6 guys. z,franzen,dats,flip cleary, helm, abby, bertuzzi, eaves, miller, homer, brunnstrom, emmerton, hudler this team flat out just doesn't have enough scoring on a nightly basis. (currently anyway)

i understand that him and howard got crossed up a little on where the puck was going to end up. BUT kronwall also stopped playing on a play during the stl game. WTF is he thinking. if that goal never happened who knows how that game would've ended up.
