i think they're all funny. maybe i am going crazy. i will continue to watch the wings every game but never expect much from them. what has happened to this team? it's honestly been years now where we see many many games like this.

so to get yourself in a better mood after a dreadful effort by the wings, do you ever just read the posts by the members on here? pretty funny.

lets hope for a good third but i highly doubt it considering what we've seen so far. i guaranteed my buddy who is a columbus fan that columbus would win this game. you can just see these games coming. conklin looks totally out of sorts. weird considering his shutout game. our number one line is more like a second at best line. also weird. this team loves saying the right things and not acting on them at all. been like this for a couple of years now. too many games with a less than stellar effort. at least we have one more period to shape up and steal this game.

I did this trip for the first time last year and saw Calgary. Detroit beat them 5-4 in ot with Lidstrom netting the winner. It was awesome as all hell. We stayed in a Detroit hotel. Hockeytown cafe and hockeytown authentics are a must for a first timer. It was really a good time.

I've seen Detroit play in Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa and Detroit. Also seen Toronto in Montreal. The Montreal atmosphere is awesome, Toronto next and Ottawa last for out of town games.

it's funny that as much as i hate bertuzzi we missed him and cleary out on the ice at the end. too shorthanded when you have to rely on abby and hudler and eaves at the end of a game 7 all in all i think the wings did ok but again failed to play hard enough early in the series. they are clearly good enough to win it all but i don't see the effort every game, just like the regular season

i think this bothers me more because this game could go easily go either way but we're on the short end. i hope sj gets killed by vancouver should they hold on to this.

I'm really nervous already. I know either team can win this game. If Val and Cleary have good games again then I think we win. SJ being scared of Kronwall helps a lot too.

This is no longer a comeback from 0-3. All this is now is a game 7. Doesn't matter how they got here. Just get it done and don't play like game 5 (first 40 anyway).

what was the refs call? not necessarily will be called a goal but it was definitely in this feels like last game detroit was badly outplayed but still won

holmstrom makes some bad decisions rafalski loves passing and shooting into peoples shins ericsson loves to pinch at bad times

this is proving to be a bad decision. we have 1 player who can win a faceoff (Z), when we used to have 3. Z,D,D.

aside from that assist that datsyuk just got, franzen should not be playing if he can't skate, dats should not play if he can't shoot or take faceoffs, bertuzzi is soft and stupid erricson better be gone next year cleary must be injured cause he is nowhere to be seen I wish tonight the 4th line could play all game.

yes but sj had zero sustained pressure either and hardly any quality scoring chances. even on the tying goal the sj player just threw it blindly out front. boyle just happened to be there. i think most of us fans knew the wings didn't have it this year. take out the first 15-20 games of the season and they played probably .500 hockey. but we ain't done till the 4th win comes.

now this is just amusing to me. we played an excellent game and still lost. didn't sit back in the 3rd and they still tied it. thornton sucks against everyone but as soon as he was coming up the ice there i had a bad feeling. 1 thing we need to learn (especially ericcson). just shoot the puck in ot.

This game wasn't actually lost in the first period but pretty close to it. I realize we were only down 1 but we could have been up 2 or 3 with those pp's. That was a big difference in the game.

I am actually really excited for this game. I effing hate sj now more than ever. I expect a lot out of our wings today. 4-2 for the D.

i don't blame this on anyone but detroit. dats and z were the only 2 forwards doing anything. not nearly enough effort out of everyone. very different team in game 1 compared to the phoenix series.

i hope the wings come out with the same hatred for the sharks that i have right now. absolutely can't stand them
