it's driving me ******* nuts with bertuzzi and cleary tonight. i can't believe their decision making and how soft they both are tonight. our 3rd line will cost us this game should we lose. rant over! -
Sadly this is what we've come accustomed to watching on home ice. I honestly don't get the lack of effort. It's mind boggling.

I believe this is a must win game. Only reason is that our home record is not nearly good enough and we need our opponents to have the fear they used to have going into the JLA.

uhm I would say we need to trade for a veteran back up. 8 weeks is about 30 games which brings us way too close to the playoffs. what if Jimmy gets injured or just plain sucks. osgood cannot come back with 10 games left after that type of surgery and be expected to do anything.

I felt the only games which were bad were the 2 Sunday games which I blamed on travel. -
Way too many times our players skate away from a perfectly clean, finishing check. Draper, Zetterberg and Cleary come to mind a lot. I love Cleary though.

I don't feel anything. I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that I don't hate the yotes. I also think this has a negative effect on the Wings. They don't seem to hate them either. If the Wings can't win a game 7 in the first round they have no business thinking about Stanley. Sadly I don't believe this is our year at all.

Detroit definitely aren't hungry enough. What I have noticed which I said before the series started was that the schedule was a mess. I knew the Sunday afternoon games would kill us and they did. We are much older than the Yotes and the turn around from Friday to Sunday was just too much. If you take away those 2 games the Wings have looked pretty damn good.

Can't you just sense something bad out of this? We need to not sit on this and put some pressure back on Phoenix. -
It's not like Raffi has done anything yet. The guy is a turnover machine. Not saying Lebda would be better but Raffi has been brutal.

I like having Luongo, Getzlaf, Toews, Staal, the four young D men, and Nash. The rest are just meh.

This team lacks focus, drive and confidence. I have already accepted the fact of missing the playoffs. Maybe a long summer is what they need to re-energize. -

I think Flip, Kronwall and a high prospect would get it done in a heartbeat. I don't think Holland wants to part with Kronwall unless he has different plans for his defence. IMO Lidstrom will be done either this year or next and Holland will need Kronwall to kind of take over as the leader of the defence. Ericsson isn't enough to get that deal done nor does he make enough money to make it work.
