My issue is not getting a guy like Prospal. We were never gonna get Hossa and I'm glad. Pitt gave up 2 roster players, high prospect, high pick. That's too much for a rental and I'm sure Pitt will tell you the same thing in the summer. You know what though. Maybe no one wanted our garbage. Like Sammy or Hudler. If we think they can't play then surely other gms think the same thing. We didn't have a lot of pieces to work with.

Dallas got better. Colorado out of the playoffs. Anaheim getting Bergeron is a little better but was always tough. SJ didn't get much better with Campbell. The man can't play D

Campbell to SJ doesn't mean a whole lot. Richards to Dallas will be a huge move. Detroit will not do anything major. Honestly maybe a look at Holik and a depth D and that's it. Prices are way too steep.

We will not be trading Kronner for Campbell. Campbell wants 7mil a year and can't play defense. Why would we possibly make that trade for a UFA.

I wonder how soon he can play. I also didn't realize that Colorado is 4 points out of the playoffs. Possibility of a 1st round match up with the Wings. If healthy Colorado and Forsberg could be pretty good.

Agreed. Brian Campbell shouldn't be one of the highest paid defenceman. Offer him a couple more years but less $.

That trade won't fly. No way Anaheim gives up all that for Stajan if Sundin doesn't re-sign with Anaheim.

He should only miss about 7 games so that's not so bad but we really need Kronner and Rafalski now.

I think it might be possible that Kronwall is as close to untouchable as there is. The Wings are planning on him being the cornerstone of our D. I also don't think Sundin is coming here. I have a feeling we will get a couple of lower quality players.
