I agree we should win game 5. I don't think the Wings played that well in game 4. I honestly think in the back of their mind that they were satisfied with the split. That's why it was so sloppy. Not enough concentration.

Don't forget that not only was he out for an extended period of time but he is on a new team. You can tell that him and Lang didn't have great chemistry at first but maybe it's starting to come now. I don't care what anyone says. Chemistry takes playing together. I was hearing the same thing about Joe Corvo in Ottawa. And it took him half the season to find out where he belonged.

I thought McDonald's goal was a good one. Hard drive to the net by Perry and get the rebound. The 2nd goal was absolutely horrendous. The ref just stands there like a dumb f*** and doesn't do anything. Call a goal or no goal. Do something. Blow the whistle for christ's sake. Then Hasek gets pushed into the net and still no whistle and they call it a goal. WOW. Not only did he get pushed but going by the rule there was no conclusive evidence that the puck even crossed the line. Of course we all knew it did but you couldn't tell for sure. What an absolute joke. I don't understand how the ref just stood there looking and doing nothing at all.

As a Canadian it bothers me too that the Wings get no respect at all. It does have a lot to do with the constant success of the franchise. Jealousy is an ugly trait. We are just a team that a lot of people love to hate.

SJ was the 5 seed only because they couldn't force games into OT. They had alot of regulation losses.

We have to win at least 1 in their building or we're toast. Our PK will be the key to surviving with no more cheap penalties. If you're gonna get one make it worth your while.

Few things about this game. First ten minutes we played like scared little girls. Flip needs more ice time. Lang and Sammy are unbelievably soft. They need serious wrist curls to get some strength behind their shots. Flip should be our 2nd line centre and then we would have 3 good lines. I'm very glad SJ thought this game was over when it was 2-0 because they sat on that lead and it bit them big time. That was great to see. Our PK was obviously much better and if not for Dom's blunder they only would have scored once. Still I think we need to be more aggressive on the forecheck.

I thought that was a good call on Homer. He kept skating backwards into the blue ice and his skate did come in contact with Kipper's pad. The ref was just trying to keep it in control.

I can see why people are pointing at Cleary but without Lidstrom this whole defence would be lost. Regardless of 1 or 2 mistakes he made the man is absolutely unconscious (sp?).

He just played very smart. I really do enjoy watching Lebda though. He's like a 4th forward out there.

I realize that Detroit didn't have 2 of its best games in Calgary and we still only lost by 1 goal each game. If they could've scored on a couple of PP's this series is over. Let's just get the PP going.

Detroit didn't play very well at all. Forecheck needs to get back the way it was in game 1. Our PP is bad and our PK is not helping either. Considering how "great" Calgary is at home they barely won this game. I expect much better in game 4.

Just play hard and get in Kipper's face. Prove everyone wrong that we're not a team full of *******.

The Score in Toronto is stating he is expected to play but they are probably getting their info out of Detroit. It would be good luck for us if Regehr is not playing though.
