It depends on who we play as to where Bert plays I think. He is honestly so good that he can make a line better by himself. Let him play with Lang and that gives us 2 good scoring lines. If Dats, Zetts need some backup then move him to the #1.

Call this one a schedule loss. I don't think Detroit wins this game. Not after the Thursday and Friday games. Probably 4-2 Columbus and we just look tired.

The more I think about it we must want to get first. We are so good at home that being in 4th would not benefit us at all. Regardless of what we think as fans of the Wings I don't think anyone believes that we are a favourite to win the cup whether we finish 1st or 4th. Everyone is drooling over Ana, SJ, Van & Nash.

Funny thing I found out last night about this game. After the brawl Ray Scapinello advised Devorski that McCarty should be thrown out of the game. Devorski obviously said no, I'm not throwing him out. McCarty comes back huge in that game and Devorski gets scolded after the game by the director of officiating for now throwing him out. Imagine the outcome had McCarty not been there.

This is obviously a huge game for Nashville. If they really want to show they are contender they have to win tonight. Considering we've handled them pretty well all season this could be demorilizing (sp?) for them if they lose. I hope we win but after the sweep of the back to back I feel Nashville has something to prove tonight.

Scotty was on the radio here in Toronto this morning and said if last night was a playoff game then Z would have played. He will most likely suit up for the last 4 games of the season.

When I look at that our line up actually isn't that good. With Sammy and Williams not contributing offensively, Draper's hands of stone and Yzerman's age/injuries, and Shanny's streaks we're hurting alot of games. We scored only PP goals against Nashville I think. Last night seemed to me like what we will see in the playoffs. Detroit with a ton of shots and no finish.

Starting a goalie in three games in four nights when he's fresh off the IR is kinda risky, and Ozzie has always been solid against the Stars. I don't question the decision to start Ozzie at all, however, I think he should've been pulled sooner than the sixth unanswered goal. Manny shouldn't have started back to backs though either. The OZ should have got Nashville/St Louis and Manny should have gotten Dallas. It just doesn't make sense to have Manny start on those 2 nights and give up 1 goal and then not start him 2 days later.
