Minus Todd McClellan, who if you haven't noticed, has the best record in the NHL.

Hey. I've been saying something is wrong with this team since the second week. But NOOOOOO, everyone just points at their W/L record and thinks everything is fine and dandy.

Why are people calling for Osgood? He has worse numbers than Conklin! The only remedy I can think of that might, MIGHT help this year and putting Z and Datsyuk back together. Because I think these new lines are just causing confusion. I don't give a f*** about Hossa. Put him with Franzen and whoever. If he's not putting up points, I don't care because he's not coming back next year.

It's going to be this way the entire year. Two and a half months into the season and nothing has changed since game 1. Why should anyone think it's going to change later? We're just going to have to live with the fact that they are terrible this year and expect a high GA than most years.

Is there an ETA on Holmstrom?

The only thing I don't like about him is that he holds onto the puck WAY too long.

What has Hossa done his last couple seasons, let alone his entire career? Oh, that's right. Nothing. I'll take the Selke runner-up, Gold Medal, Conn Smythe winner, and Stanley Cup Champion over a player who's trying to leech a Cup of his own. Hossa also has had knee issues, specifically last year, and he's 2 years older than Hank.

Wow, it's like people already forgot what Zetterberg did last year. Hossa has been great, so far, but any Red Wings fan knows the backbone of this organization is its loyalty. Hossa will be on their list to re-sign for sure, but that's not until Zetterberg, Franzen, and Hudler are dealt with first. I'm thinking there will only be enough money to re-sign Zetterberg and Franzen. Hossa will be let go and Hudler will have to be traded or signed away with a RFA contract offer from another team.

400 wins and he's in. I think last year's playoff performance sealed the deal.

Statistically speaking, he's not. Marty Turco has a worse GAA and SV%.

I never said they weren't "trying." I said they (along with everyone else) haven't been impressive. Impressive, to me, is their play from last season. The defense, the PK, the passing, everything. Nothing is there this season. Which is why I want them back together with Holmstrom.

Conklin has been great, sure. But again. Neither of the two Wings' goalies are in the top 30 in SV% or GAA. That's horrible. Hossa, again, good, but took 5 games to get going, and recently, hasn't been noticeable (which I blame squarely on Kopecy being there) Franzen is picking up from last season, but 'impressive'? His two-way game, which is what he was suppose to be specializing in when he came to Detroit, has been lacking (just like everyone else).

I'd agree if the rest of the team have been playing well, but they haven't. Fact: Not one Red Wings player has been impressive this season.
