I don't like any matchup against the Wings in the first round. I feel like any team in the West is capable of beating the Wings in a 4 game series.

it's not like the Wings have a 20 point lead in the standings. They're trying to ensure home-ice. Throwing away points right now isn't the best idea. And for as successful as Osgood has been in the playoffs in the past, he's also had numerous meltdowns, too. Regardless of whether or not Conklin is "proven" in the playoffs, I know for one thing he's work damn hard this regular season and deserves to be named the starter.

I'd call up Larsson and give him a few games. Make the defene be a bit more aware with a rookie netminder playing. And who knows, maybe he'll get hot and the Wings can ride him and Conklin. Can't be worse than Osgood at the moment.

If this organization is serious about winning again this season, they have to trade for better goaltending. Too bad they're loyal to their players and Osgood will again get another chance to prove himself. Think if Howard or Larsson had Osgood's stats this season that either of them would still be up with the club?

I just don't understand how anyone can think this team is the favorite to win the Stanley Cup. This has got to be the worst defensive Wings team since the 80's. I mean really. There hasn't been one game this season, ONE GAME, that I felt the Wings just dominated at every end of ice the whole game, when last year they did it practically every night.
