Landon is a hell of a player, i've watched him over the last 2 seasons and he only gets better and better every game. Excellent pick up for the wings. Some people over on Mlive were critical of his plus/minus, but what they didn't check was his team was awful this season in Red Deer.

Unfortunately, if they did that then they would have to suspend Zetts as well as his came off pretty easily as well. This is absolute bush league by the NHL, if one of the Wings pulled that at the end of the game they would not turn around and rescind that.

I wasn't overly thrilled with the officiating tonight, they did miss a few interference calls, an obvious high stick on zetts and a blatant cross check by Crosby in the first. In the end it didn't matter the Wings got the win and that's what counts.

Honestly I would love to see the Wings play the Canucks. As much as I hate the bandwagon fans in vancouver I loved beating them in 2002 and hearing all the ankles break in Vancouver, would love to see it again. That and I would get free tickets.

I still don't get why Seattle keeps coming up. Their arena is a dump, it's old, outdated and absolutely horrible for hockey. Before they could even consider an NHL team they would need an arena. Key Arena was renovated in the 90s and when the owner got wind that the NHL was interested in that area, he altered the arena so that hockey would not work properly. The Ice plant/piping in that place is off centered to the seats so that on one end of the ice the seats stop at the just before the hash marks. The Seattle Thunderbirds played there for quite a while and it was possibly one of the worst places to watch a hockey game. <END RANT>

Yeah, usually they stay at the Pan Pacific, not sure where they eat. They arrive at the rink around 8-9am for the game day skate, you can sometimes get autographs then. I'll be in my companies suite for that one. Cheers.

Why do people think that Seattle is a hockey market? They're 2 horse town. Football & Baseball. Yes, the Metro Seattle area has 2 WHL franchises, but the Thunderbirds are moving to Kent because they can't support the team there. And Everett is successful because they're a winning team. Washington & Oregon are NOT hockey states.
