I don't disagree with the firing of Capers, Tice, Haslett and Martz....but I have to agree with you on Sherman. I think Sherman is a pretty damn good coach when his team is HEALTHY. The Packers got hit with the injury bug bad this year. I actually thought that he tried to keep the team competive with gado as running back. This signals the end of the Brett Favre era. As a Lions fan, I will miss going against the packers and Favre.

everyone is surprised when joey plays good. Harrington is an NFL QB. The problem for Joey has been his consistancy. He can play great one week and absolutely stink up the joint the next week. Joey is 10 times the better quarterback than Ryan Leaf ever was.

if the jets fire herm edwards, i want him as the coach. russ grimm is another tough coach that we need for this team.

Al Saunders is the offensive coordinator of the Kansas City Cheifs. Has been there the last 5 seasons. Maybe the Lions are hoping that Saunders is a good name for a head coach.....just look at the pistons.

PSU is probably the only team that might not be as good next year as they are this year. OSU and ND are going to be a challenge. Michigan hasn't won at notre dame since 1994.

the lions had some decent teams in the first couple of years with barry sanders....they even made it to the NFC championship game. Imagine that!! Under Wayne Fontes, the team typically made the playoffs. Who would have thought that looking at the lions history, fontes looks like a pretty good coach now. I would love to have Wayne Fontes back as Lions head coach...probably wont happen tho.

i am looking forward to seeing notre dame against ohio state. I think you're going to learn a lot about both teams in that game. winner should be a top 5 team next year. Sorry, but USC is going to knock texas all around the rose bowl. USC is going to win by 20 plus. The trojans might as well play new england in the super bowl....ha ha...i wish. the schedule is always tough in the big ten. the part that stands out for me is that hart will be healthy. I think Henne will have a huge year next year and manningham is going to get the ball thrown at him more, probably be the best receiver next year. If the defense isnt dominate next year, you have to get rid of hermann. Defense has been a weakness of michigan's for years. Only thing state really has is Stanton's senior year. Wish they could get rid of the coaches tho. Oh well, one more year of John LLLLLLLLLLLLLLL in east lansing. MARIUCCI TO EAST LANSING IN 2007!!!!

excellent points. It would be hard to argue that the Pistons don't own Motown right now. The Red Wings early exit during the Pistons championship year and the lockout hasn't helped the Red Wings fan base. It would be very cool to see fans cheering and supporting both teams on their way to championships.

As a spartan fan, I am scared about next year. Michigan doesn't have many seasons in which 5 losses comes up. Michigan is going to have a huge chip next year looking to make a statement next year. Michigan State's best chance to win the conference title was this past year. I see Michigan putting a big year in play and the spartans losing as usual. Mariucci to East Lansing in 2007!!!

I can't wait for tomorrow's trainwreck. The angry fan march, fans wear orange to support the bengals, and they are allowing signs!! The hell with the game, just to see the fans go nuts is worth it to me. I hope carson palmer, chad johnson and the bengals put up 60 on the lions. The only thing I can hope is that the team loses bad enough to maybe put some sense in the ford's minds that HEY, MILLEN AIN'T DOING A GOOD JOB!! Oh well, nice to dream.

depending on the outcome of the rose bowl, vince young might stick around for his senior season too. why wouldn't he either?? he would be the favorite for the heisman next year and would have texas #1 in the nation. and after next year, he would be #1 overall pick in the nfl draft. all of this of course assuming young would stay healthy.

find it hard to believe that you are not including a review of darko. Darko has played almost the same amount of games as Delfino.

USC will be good as long as Pete Carroll is there...which is going to be for a long time. Carroll has a fair easy conference and can lead the trojans to the national championship every year.

the tigers are doing what they should be doing. just opening up the pocketbook a ton and just sign anyone. show other free agents that all star players will come to detroit.
