thats debatable. With his contract, no team would want to take a chance on rogers. The lions are going to have to suck it up and keep him....or try to get the contract void.

I heard on the sports radio station last night.....that it is possible for a huge part of his contract to be held back due to incentive clauses that were in his contract. If the Lions can cut him now and say...only owe him $1 million.....would you do it? I am a spartan fan and even I am debating over this topic. i agree. Trammell got a huge raw deal. Good luck getting any good coach to coach this team. No one wants to coach the tigers and tram at least had them respectable most of the season around the .500 mark.

baseball is the sport i watch the least compared to the other 3. But i still find myself loving baseball for this time of the calender year. michigan state still has a better overall record than michigan...hence why michigan state is higher than michigan. Pollsters love notre dame..thats why they are always high when they are no different than a lot of other teams.

Smith is going to be like Cooper at Ohio State: I say if he doesn't beat UM next year he gets canned.... No way JLS gets canned just for not beating UofM. He's done a great job of recruiting and coaching, and the school won't neglect what he's done. I know there used to be a requirement for MSU coaches have a winning record against UM, it shows you can't win the big games (supposedly) yeah yeah yeah..but get the spartans against the irish...we take care of business.

Surprise, surprise...i go going for Michigan State. The spartans will be looking for revenge from last year's game. Spartans look like a completely different team this year compared to other years. Their offense matching up against the wolverines defense will be very key in this game. Good game but sorry michigan fans. This game goes to the Spartans. GO GREEN! GO WHITE!

that is the only reason perles is on this list so high. I mean..wayne fontes should be considered the best coach of the lions because he did take them to the playoffs a few times and ACTUALLY WON A GAME. But I seriously doubt he was that great of a coach.

Only thing i can do is lick my wounds for this weekend and root for michigan state next week.........and every other big ten team to beat michigan. lol.

typical michigan fan arguing the call on a game they won. How many other games have the refs blown for michigan this year already?? I am not going to blame the ref for this game even tho the ref made some bad calls...ie the clear interception that was ruled a incomplete pass. Michigan State has only themselves to blame today. They had their chances. They blew it. They deserve to have lost this game.

the big play for me was the 16 play drive in which michigan state marched down the field going 90 yards and ended up with NOTHING. Missed the field goal. That was very costly. Good job by michigan keeping stanton on the bench pretty much the WHOLE 4th quarter.
