Took a look at the new Michigan State schedule and I was like WHOA!! this sets up nicely for the Spartans this year. Check it out. Sat, Sep 5 Montana State Sat, Sep 12 Central Michigan Sat, Sep 19 at Notre Dame Sat, Sep 26 at Wisconsin Sat, Oct 3 Michigan Sat, Oct 10 at Illinois Sat, Oct 17 Northwestern Sat, Oct 24 (20) Iowa Sat, Oct 31 at Minnesota Sat, Nov 7 Western Michigan Sat, Nov 14 at Purdue Sat, Nov 21 (8) Penn State Not sure what the toughest road game is. Wisconsin?? Illinois?? Definately the hardest home game is Penn State. Penn State is gonna be tough this year. They basically return everyone on their team. I see PSU winning the big ten with Ohio State in 2nd, but why can't this team with this schedule have a 2 loss year and finish 3rd in the big ten.

don't devalue what getting Datsyuk back for us means. He might just be the biggest difference in the series going forward.

Luck is when "prepardness meets opportunity". Detroit plays well at the Joe and it showed in games 1-2. Pittsburgh held serve at their home and hence they won 3-4. The pens still have to win at the joe in order to win the cup which means that Pittsburgh has to overcome the matchup disadvantage as well as a hostile joe louis arena. Wings don't have to win at the Igloo.

we will find out in the next week if this series outcome is different than last year. The jury is still out on this one.

Thank you NFM#25! As far as osgood, history has proven that he does have bad games...but follows them up with traditionally his best games. To me this is no different. Osgood will be the best player on the ice thursday and look for him to prove why he is clutch in the finals. Wings win tomorrow!

actually, I wouldnt call the wings right now a dynasty. They have only won 1 cup (right now its still 1) and been to the conference finals one other time. Yes they have had good records,...but so have the sharks....is the sharks in a dynasty right now?? HELL NO!!

its the wings contiuatiuon of getting players like helm and abdelkader to fill the cupboard is EXACTLY why the wings have been very good for a long time. Look at where zetterberg and datsyuk were taken in the NHL draft.
