Down 2-1 in the 3rd with the game still up the air, yeah you need to make that save. To keep your team in it. Goaltending has been the difference so far in this series. Osgood is better than last year and fleury is worst...despite what the skaters have produced.

But its hard not to look at this and beg the question after 2 games "whatz different from last year". We are still up 2-0 heading to Pittsburgh and the pens still have no answer for detroit's d. Pens have to hold serve in the next two games or it appears likely that the wings will defend their cup again.

A win is a win and a loss is a loss. Does it really matter if its 7-0 or 2-1...nope!! still a loss. Pens still find themselves having to hold serve at home and win both games in order for them to have any shot in these finals. Series is 2-0 in favor of wings regardless of how you feel the pens have played.

cant do it. Big church day with my pastor retiring today after 25 years there. I took today off for work specifically for this.

I dont get it why this isnt happening more. If anything its a way to make a quick buck. Charge $5 per person...set up refreshments and retail...make a profit because all you really have to do is turn the tvs on.

only time that doesnt work for on sunday is if the game started like at noon. I dont think NBC would do that tho with game 1 at night earlier. Likely it will be something like 5 or 7pm start time.

doesnt matter to me either way. Hoping that the game will start early sunday. My gf normally leaves my house around 6am monday mornings.

the problem is that everyone is gonna follow boston. Boston has a real rotation problem with their starting pitchers. Right now they have Beckett, Lester, Wakefield, Dice K, and Penny in their rotation. Smoltz is due to come back very soon. Buchholz really should be a SP right now, pitching lights out in the minors. Boston has a ton of starters, young ones at that too. Big Papi is struggling so bad this year that he probably only has less than a month before they gotta figure out what to do with him for their playoff stretch run. A 1 year rental like Matt Holliday or Adam Dunn is almost a certain thing to be traded to the red sox. The A's and Nats wouldnt mind getting younger arms in return either.

I would love to get together to watch the game tomorrow. I have the whole day off. Problem is that I am currently in Marlette area staying at my girlfriend's home for a few days.

If thats the case, then you gotta include him in the discussion. The question I have is once Bonderman is healthy, he takes over whose's slot. Right now it appears to be Galarragga's slot but it could very easily be Porcello's. I dont think you mess with the rest of the rotation. Anyone feel that the longer this team continues playing well...that we might want to look at getting another bat by trading deadline?? Matt Holliday and Adam Dunn are definately going to be available come trade deadline with both players signing a 1 year deal with their horrid clubs. I wouldnt mind a solid everyday LFer like those two...but i would want them locked up long term.

I will not be attending at cheli's chili. I found out yesterday that my schedule was adjusted and I gotta be up there early saturday morning to work.

the rest of the week at work will determine if i can make it or not. Right now scheduled to work til 7:30pm that night but i am begging for more hrs at work (right now only 20 hrs this week) so if I get to switch schedules around or get extra hrs anyway i can get them..i have to take them. if i do attend, i will be bringing my gf with me.

I have to work friday til 7:30pm. Saturday I will be at Comerica seeing the Tigers. Work all day sunday Monday I will be at greenfield village too. Only with my gf enjoying all the civil war stuff going on there.

I was born in EAST DETROIT so i change the words a bit for me. Surprisingly enough...my gf is a small town girl. We joked that it should be our song because it fits us perfectly.
