FSN+ was created when conflicts were created with the Pistons and Red Wings games both on at the same time. For a long time games would either be on channel 50 or PASS...even going as far as not broadcasting the game. Fox2 is not the same as Fox Sports Detroit in that Fox2 is a national television channel while FSD is local. Fox2 would buy the rights to broadcast the games every now and then but I cant see Fox2 happy if they not show American Idol on a Wednesday night in favor of a Red Wings game.

This has a lot to do with the fact that they have a new stadium with much more revenue. It's hard to say that they didnt try to buy a championship in years past. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didnt.

should have a poll question to this. Anyway, buy. Angels are not that good anymore without K-Rod and Teixeria. Tampa is a fluke last year and they will not be as good next year. Red Sox are the biggest challenge left and personally, I dont see the Red Sox the same this year without Man-Ram. Plus the Red Sox have holes on starting pitching towards the end of the rotation after Beckett and Dice K. Oh and the Yanks are still in the market for Man-Ram. Both the Yanks and the Mets are trying to look good in their new stadiums so I see them both reaching the World Series.

No one is technically signed yet. They can't sign officially until National Signing Day. Show me an article that shows Forcier is signed. Edwin Baker and Andrew Maxwell are MSU's top offense recruits but they still have to sign first. I would think Michigan fans would learn from last year in Pryor that even tho someone is verbally committed, it doesn't mean they are there until signed.

Forcier isn't fully signed either yet Michigan fans. He still has Oregon and Penn State on his list of schools to go to. Michigan better hope he signs for them because their is nothing else out there.

Tigers agree to terms on Matt Treanor. Looks like Comerica Park will have Misty May-Treanor in the stands more. Two-for-One deal if you ask me.

I actually think the Lions logo, uniforms are well respected and one of the best in the NFL. too bad the team wearing those uniforms is terrible.

anyone got any ideas on how to build this program up the right way? Here is mine: --Ford Sr. is never gonna sell so the least he can is hand the reins over to Ford Jr. --Fire GM Mayhew, management personal (excluding owner), coaches....hell, even the water boy & the guy that plays Roary. --Hire Scott Pioli to run the personal in the same title Matt Millen had. Give him COMPLETE control and a $hitload of money. Trust is his ability to turn this franchise around. --Hire Josh McDaniels (NE offensive coordinator) as head coach. Let him bring in his coaches to run this team. --You can get rid of everyone little by little but a few players. Jason Hanson, Nick Harris, Ernie Sims, Leigh Bodden, Daunte Culpepper , Calvin Johnson all stay. Culpepper stays because you can use a veteran QB if your the Lions. --Bring in Matt Cassel to give McDaniels a QB who is familiar with his system. Let Cassel and Culpepper battle for starter but odds are that Cassel would win. --DRAFT WELL!! Do not draft a QB. Draft "meat and potatoes" players like lineman or linebackers. No flashy players like a QB or WR who will never live up to their full potential without lineman to block. --Bring back a much more ferocious looking Roary lions mascot. Sometimes I just look at the current mascot and think "Paws could so kick Roary's ass"

what the hell is up with the Packers this year? Easy to blame Aaron Rodgers but the kid is playing well. I have the Pack defense on my fantasy football and never have I been more disgusted with them.

WHEW!! That was a close one. Lions sucked it up tho and found a way to lose, despite the Vikes playing terrible. ONLY THREE MORE GAMES TO GO!!
