please indicate which date that game is. SJ & LA play both on Saturday and Sunday.

last year the Big Ten had 10 teams with 6 wins. No team that finished with 6 wins made a bowl game. It took 7 last year. I honestly don't see Michigan getting 7 wins.
-
I think Northwestern has a better shot at winning the Big Ten then Ohio State or Penn State if you look at the remaining schedule. Michigan State Purdue at Indiana at Minnesota (12) Ohio State at Michigan Illinois Michigan is their only tough road game left. Ohio State and Penn State still has to play each other as well as Michigan State has to play both. Nortwestern could sneek in and get at least a share of the Big Ten title...especially if they defeat Michigan State this saturday.

any more interested?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_Layne GOOD NEWS LIONS FANS!! THE CURSE IS ABOUT TO BE OVER!!!
-
anyone willing to say that Michigan will keep their bowl streak alive? They need 4 more wins to qualify. Here is the remaining schedule. Toledo at (6) Penn State (23) Michigan State at Purdue Minnesota Northwestern at (12) Ohio State Just curious.

my worry right now is the Lions will spend a few mins evaluating possible draft picks and look just up the state at Javon Ringer and make him #1 pick. Ringer is a good college back and may not be that great of a NFL back. Rather see the Lions draft a lineman with a top 5 pick.
-
especially when he is replaced by a 2nd Franzen. So we are cloning NHL players now and we pick Franzen?? Can't we clone Lidstrom, Zetterberg, Datsyuk first.

Still feel this way? -
Problem is no one wants the #1 pick nowadays. They dont want to give up a #16 and a #28 for a top 5 pick because of the high rookie contracts. Plus you can get a ton of good players in the late 1st round....if you know what your doing. Roy Williams is not worthy of a first round pick. Might get a 3rd round pick for him.

one week before this game begins.

No game is a guarntee win, even the I-AA teams. Michigan knows that.
-
I give credit to Michigan's defense. Take 2 of those early field goals and turn them into touchdowns and the game is not even close....hell take 1 and the outcome is different. My point is more often then not, you turn over the ball and play that poorly in the first half...you are down much more than just 19-0. Heck I bet that was part of DickRod's halftime speech in that they were only down by that much. I think every year people jump on the Wisconsin bandwagon and when you really think about it. WHO HAVE THEY BEATEN.. They are big ten's biggest fraud and they should be banned from the top 10 rankings until they beat someone.

Thanks for the info. I got Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings and Ryan Grant on my fantasy football team this year. Only player I trust enough to keep him in week after week is Jennings. -
MSU beat ND, a team that Michigan couldn't beat. Ohio State is still the team to beat in the Big Ten. I dont see how you can share or win the big ten 3 years in a row and not be the team to beat in the conference. Becareful of "fool's gold". Wisconsin demise was the simple fact that they could not put Michigan away when they had the chance in the first half. They owned the yardage and controlled most of the game. They practically lived on the michigan side of the field the whole first half. They scored field goals when they should have had touchdowns. Even towards the end when Wisconsin needed to score a TD and 2 pt conversation to tie the game, they marched down the field and scored the TD. If it wasn't for the illegal reciever downfield call (which was a good call just a mental error), the game would have been tied, heading to OT. Michigan still has to manage some kind of consistant offense this year or this win is just the highlight of a non-bowl year for the Wolverines.

ok. someone give me some insight in what is going on with the packers. 2 straight losses, no running game with ryan grant and now aaron rodgers is injuried. Honestly I like the Bears more to win the divison over the Pack and I wouldnt have said that 2 weeks ago after Rodgers torched the Lions. -
http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article...ORTS02/80928025 Chuck Hernandez gets the boot. Bout time. This team needs to stay up near the top and avoid falling out of contention like they did this year.
-
me! After awhile it should get easier to keep track. There will be a list on page one with your name and the teams you have chosen already. It's up to you to make sure you make your picks each and every week as well as picking an eligable team.
-
surprised no one has looked at the ACTUAL game for the Lions and Pistons. Lions play the Jags the weekend I think your talking about. Like people before, the Lions are a tough ticket despite being terrible. Pistons play the defending NBA champion Boston Celtics. That is gonna be a tough ticket as well so personally I would go to any game that you ACTUALLY can get tickets to. If you want a competitive game tho, you cant go wrong with the Pistons-Celtics game.
-
plenty of time to play this game.
-
What team? You can't be talking about Florida from last year. Every time Michigan plays USC, its like going thru a buzzsaw.
-
UNBELIEVABLE! I DON'T BELIEVE WHAT I JUST SAW!! ...and I am a Spartan fan. What an incrediable win for Michigan. I don't even recognize the team that played in the 2nd half. I am used to the team that played in the 1st half. Where the hell did that come from. Wisconsin let Michigan stay in the game and it cost them. I have seen it over and over again. I propose that Wisconsin not be allowed to be in "Big Ten title talk" until they ACTUALLY win a big game. Time and time again they have a solid team but when needed, they fold and collaspe like they did today. Enjoy the victory Michigan. I feel dirty now.

turnovers are absolutely killing Michigan. I am beginning to wonder how they even beat Miami Ohio.

You can have Matt Millen!!! Your not get any sympathy for me over your team. Lions fans would gladly take the history of the Bears for their team.
