nope...thats for sure.. What do you think about Mr. B's Spectadium Rivalred?
-
damn. oh well...have a good game..if there is one.
-
I used to be apart of a group that hung out and watched red wing games (used to be about 20-30 people involved). We loved hanging out at Mr. B's Spectadium on Livernois in Troy. I wouldn't mind hanging out there for a party. The place is huge and they have tons of tvs.

what about April 18th (game 5 slated at 7:30pm) in Troy? Who can make it that date?

TIGERS WIN!!
-
Does the Tigers poor start effect the Red Wings? I think it does to some degree. The poor start has maybe put the Red Wings in the Detroit sports spotlight now where they were not before March 31. Yes this is still Hockeytown but over the past few months, this town has been Tigers crazy especially after their huge offseason moves, and who can blame them. The Tigers went out and grabbed quality players and paid them a ton of money (ie, Cabrera signed 8 year, $152 million contract). The Red Wings have enjoyed an "under the radar" mainly because of this and the fact that "they are the Red Wings" and casual sports fans have taken the "wake me up when its the finals" approach to the Red Wings. A successful Red Wing season to casual wings fans and die hard fans to is answered with this simple question: Did you win the Cup? I feel that probably for the first time since before the Tigers rebirth in 2006, the focus might shift back towards the Red Wings in this city, especially if they make a long playoff run and the Tigers poor start continues to a poor season. Oh btw, the Pistons are still popular but the east is so weak there might as well be byes until Boston and Detroit meet up in the Eastern Conference Finals. Thoughts?

they always add the stanley cup playoff logo in the playoffs as far as I can remember. Not sure on the blue line or behind the net. I dont mind it. its not the ice that i watch, its the players and the puck.

Does the Tigers poor start affect the Red Wings?
timothy1997 replied to timothy1997's topic in General
you missed the point of this thread. Of course the Red Wings dont care about baseball (of course a lot of wings go to tigers games). The general sports attention in Detroit might change based on what the Tigers have done on the field with their poor start. Are the red wings in a bigger spotlight locally now that the Tigers are off the radar for a lot of casual fans? -
i agree but no money here. Tickets are too expensive.

I really hope that tonight is the night that the bats finally wake up. Tigers face Lester tonight, a beatable pitcher when you consider Wakefield pitches tomorrow. They got Bonderman on the hill which should give the pitching edge to Detroit but nothing is taken for granted obviously this year. Plus I will be watching the game tonight which so far I havent watched many games this year. My message to the Tigers tonight is this: Please..just win a game. I don't care if this team stinks all year and loses 100 games, at least lets get our name outta the national media with this winless streak. I am begging for a W tonight.

i dont think you could have both stuart and campbell. I would prefer Campbell then Stuart.

by far one the best college basketball championship games ever. The way Kansas rallied down 9 and came back is classic. I don't care for either school but I found myself cheering for the Jayhawks. Good game
-
nope...tigers dont play the cubs this year.
-
Yup. You better get a ticket for the game. Relax. Game 7, if needed, will be televisied.
-
What about a get together for game 5 (if needed). That's friday april 18th at 7:30pm. I am off all day so I am interested.
-
Relax. Fox Sports Detroit broadcasts all red wing playoff games in round 1 and 2 minus the NBC games check out this website to find out what games are going to be broadcasted in Detroit. Keep in mind there will be FSD and FSD plus channels made so that all red wing playoff games, pistons playoff games, and tigers season games will be shown. Note that the red wing and pistons playoff schedules have not been posted to the calender yet, but they will. www.aprilinthed.com

-
i hope i can just see a game. Seriously the ref should blow the whistle on interference. Work is interfering with my hockey.
-
for some reason it is still full size on mine.
-
picture needs to be resized dude. Messing up the whole thread.
-
i am actually happy this team is getting smacked around a bit early. Maybe now they can finally stop mailing it in and actually gel and become a good team. It wouldn't phase me one bit if they get blown out tomorrow night on national team. Getting this team the **** out of town is just what they need.

its mispoke. You hope you never mispoke in here. Misspeak or misspeaking is refering to the 3rd person. Consider this your warning.

cool...a poll topic with no actual poll. I vote for Hasek. Who is winning?
