Yep. He really impressed me today. Hart and Super Mario had a rough day today and now need to have a great showing on their Michigan pro day in order to be drafted on saturday. Hart IMO, will be drafted on the 2nd day anyway. Manningham at one point looked like a first round draft pick. Now i think he can be 3rd-4th.

I am find with the Robby Gordon penalty. He cheated, he got caught, he got docked points. NASCAR doesn't dilly-dally when someone cheats. They penalize right away. I wish sometimes all the other sports leagues were that swifty with judgement.

well since NASCAR is having their first rain delayed race today, what do you guys think NASCAR should do in order to fix this, or is it fine just the way it is? are you in favor of putting sipes in the tread to get more of a groove? personally I think that would work great on road corses but not on the short, long tracks...plus you gotta get wipers for cars too so the driver can see.

how else is players like Delaware QB Joe Flacco gonna get a chance then? The interesting part of the combine is watching these "never heard of players" perform well and show they have what it takes to be drafted on draft day.

Anyone watching the NFL Combine this weekend? I absolutely love NFL network's coverage of this event. Run DMC is absolutely gonna be a sick NFL player. I wouldn't be surprised if a contender makes a bold move to pick him up (Dallas) to grab him and throw him right in the fire. I also think Mike Hart's stock was hurt a bit with the 40 yard dash. He had one of the slower times and to the NFL teams, that is all that matters.

this is hysterical. Beginning of the year, everyone said Ozzie was the best thing since sliced bread. He has one bad month and now you want him disguarded like rotten lettuce. Wings are just going thru a funk right now. Better to have it now than in the playoffs IMO. Get hasek back, ozzie back on track, some of the d-men back and the wings will be in good shape entering the playoffs. Howard belongs in GR this year.

I personally think Jr. blew it when they chose not to pit down the stretch in two critical moments. Newman and Stewart took advantage of fresher tires and blew by Jr. I really was surprise to see Stewart lose that race once he took the white flag in the lead.

First off, power rankings are completely bulls***. Anyone who puts stock in these needs to get out more. The celtics to me would be #10, followed by #11 pistons. The West is clearly the better conference with 9 great teams. There really is only 3 teams in the East with Boston, Detroit and Orlando. Everyone else doesnt matter.

Purdue, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan State and Ohio State will all make the NCAA tournament. Michigan won't even make the NIT.

You have a point with vision with regards to the full cage but the neckguard should be added to the NHL. The neckguard foesn't effect vision and definately would have helped with the Zednik injury. Worst case, the hockey player looks like he is wearing a turtleneck.

Thats why i poised that question. The NHL is really lucky that more players haven't been effected by more incidients like this when you consider players are going to the net to deflect the puck like Holmstrom, players are diving infront of pucks to stop a slapshot and deflections can occur at any time to result in injuries like Cleary's.

#1 Fischer collasped and no one knew what was wrong with him (fans and players). No one saw the injury coming and everyone was left in shock. Zednik's injury while shocking, some of the players and fans knew right away what had happened. He was stable enough to skate over to the trainer and the trainer applied pressure on his throat, probably saving his life. He was rushed off to the dressing room and eventually the hospital. I don't think anyone would have faulted the NHL if they wanted to end the game but midway thru the 3rd and the fact that everyone saw him skate off and you knew what was wrong with him, that factors into whether the game would be stopped or cleaned up and continued. If an athlete breaks his leg, would that have been any different. Take care of the athlete, get the playing field back in playable shape and continue with the game is the basic fundemental thinking with all sports. #2 not sure if OSHA would apply to a sport played in multiple countries, albeit 2 american teams.

Does this incident (and the cleary incident)further move the NHL to adopt a way to protect NHL players by either adding a full cage or a neckguard added to prevent futher injuries like this to happen? full cage neckguard idea
