Assuming the Eagles get killed by the Pats tonight, the Lions will have lost 2 games in a week and still be in a playoff spot. Go figure!!

Well the victory parade was today. Parade went right by my house. They had the players on a hayride wagon and parade concluded at the local knights of columbus hall with meet-n-greet along with autograph sessions with the players and coaches. Just getting to meet and shake hands with the people that captivated this small community was enough. Nearly 2,000 were at the hall today and offically they had 8,000 fans at Ford Field for last Friday's game. Good Job Mariners!!

Season almost over and there is still no clear cut runaway winner yet.

Notre Dame and the rest of the non-bcs conferences would be up in arms to be neglected, even teams like Notre Dame should join a conference.

First off, I didn't claim McFadden should win the Heisman. I think he will get more votes than Hart based on what RUN DMC has done all season running the ball, catching the ball, and passing the ball. Hart is a good running back but not a complete back. I am not going to punish Michigan for having good wr's. Arkansas is much more of a running team based on having 2 good running backs. Arkansas and Michigan ended up with the same record in 8-4, with Arkansas defeating more quality opponents than Michigan. Arkansas has beaten LSU, Michigan's biggest win this year is Penn State. My point on this is that big players contribute in big games. McFadden's performance against LSU is enough to grant him a trip to NYC, however he will not win the Heisman. Sidenote: Wouldn't it be fun to see both Michigan and Arkansas play each other. Too bad it won't happen.

It might take a f***ed up title game before they fix this damn BCS thing. Right now, I wanna give Hawaii a shot. They at least have beaten every team on their schedule.

While Tebow will win the Heisman... RUN DMC showed why he deserved more consideration for the Heisman Trophy than Hart against LSU the other day. RUN DMC is a stud and can't wait to see him play in the NFL.

This season is crazy. Hard to believe we have only 1 more week left before the bowls are offically filled up. Here is the game plan for the final week. BC beat Va Tech: betterREDthandead must be bumming from the va-va tech game. Oklahoma beat Mizzou: This shouldnt be an upset but it is. Tennessee beat LSU: Only to seriously mess up the SEC. Oregon St beat Oregon: Just because UCLA beat USC & Arizona beat Arizona St: Come on, I am getting sick of seeing USC in the Rose Bowl. Wouldn't it be great if UCLA got in the big game. Pitt beat West Va: Sure pitt is 0-4 on the road but they are just due for a road win. Hawaii beat Washington: Only because I want to see the Rainbows in the title game. Title game is Ohio State vs Hawaii!!!! Go Rainbows!!

The way this season is ending up is EXACTLY why Michigan's loss to Wisconsin a few weeks ago was big, despite Michigan fans coming in here saying the "game didn't matter" The title game is shaping up to be West Va vs Kansas/Missouri but there is a catch. Kansas/Missouri still has to play Oklahoma for the Big 12 title game. If Oklahoma beats either Kansas/Missouri, Ohio State is in the National Championship game, leaving Illinois possibly in BCS. Had Michigan defeated Wisconsin, there would be no debate about that Michigan would get the nod over Illinois, but because Michigan is ineligable for the BCS because of only winning 8 games, they have to settle for the Capital One or Outback Bowl.

Marine City making me proud so far. 7-0 at the half with a defensive game. Notre Dame prospect Gray being held to just 20 yards, being gangtackled everytime he touches the ball. Kay has looked sharp on the Mariners scoring drive with a huge pass and good pass selection. On a side note, they zoomed in to show where marine city was and you could see my house from the satellite images. pretty cool Go Mariners!!

Just when you think you have it all figured out... Arkansas defeats LSU!?!?!?! and the offical "you take it, i don't want it" season continues. This has by far been the craziest college football season ever.

Even better than Jake Long?? That player just screams offensive lineman of michigan past in Hutchinson or Jansen.

the stat is totally misleading because twice the Rose Bowl committe gave Michigan the nod based on the Wolverines being 2nd in the Big Ten and the Big Ten Champions Ohio State being unavailable, and one Rose Bowl was the national championship game and despite Ohio State & Penn State winning the Big Ten, they were not #1 or #2 in the BCS rankings. Despite having a great record from Tressel, he has never taken the Buckeyes to the Rose Bowl. How crazy a stat is that!!

It's fans voting. It doesn't matter how the player is doing. If Hasek had an injury before the season even started, he would still get votes. The casual NHL fan at least knows Hasek.

Jury is still out on Peterson. Right now he shows tons of potential. THAT'S IT! But to say he is not a bust is not fair. Way too soon to determine that. The reason I don't think Hart will do well in the NFL is based on 3 reasons. #1 his size. Say all you want about his heart (no pun intended), but the kid is short. #2 he doesn't catch the ball. Majority of the good quality running backs out there in the NFL, also do their fair share of catching the ball as well. #3 Michigan's history of having good college backs, but poor nfl backs. No doubt Michigan has had better QBs, WRs, defensive players than good running backs make it in the NFL.

That stat is misleading given that Ohio State has bypassed the Rose Bowl 2 years in order to play for the National Championship. Michigan has won (or shared) the Big Ten Title 5 times since 1997. Ohio State has done it 6 times.

I don't know about the leg problem. But Hart's stock has dropped since last year, and he has had his share of injuries especially this year, that makes me believe that he will be a bust in the NFL.

True. What Wolverines will have success in the NFL? I think Long is a sure bet. I think Hart won't have success tho. Looks like Chris Perry and look what short career Perry had.

Last night's MSU loss to UCLA, shows that these Spartans have a long way to go still. Morgan couldn't stay on the court with foul trouble. Lucas couldn't handle the trap. Too many turnovers from him. Neitzel needs to take better shots. The 2 late 3 point shots were horrible. They played great in the first half but watching the 2nd half, you just knew that UCLA was going to make a comeback and they did.

BCS may expand field Pretty interesting. I am thinking that if they expand, Hawaii and even Illinois could go to a BCS bowl.
