Nick Saban compares Bama loss to 9/11, Pearl Harbor
timothy1997 replied to timothy1997's topic in Other Sports
Mark it down Eva. I agree with you on this one. -
Manningham yes, Thomas no.

That they are. It's amazing that Marine City even made it this far as this is their 1st appearance. Country Day has a running back headed to Notre Dame. Marine City has a quarterback headed to Cincy.

Nick Saban compares Bama loss to 9/11, Pearl Harbor

I don't want to hear the words "9-11" or "Pearl Harbor" mentioned at all from a football coach. It is just a game. I know what he tried to say but he choose the wrong words. He could have easily said "you find out the true spirit of a team when they hit rock bottom and see their season spiril down." He didn't have to use 9/11 or Pearl Harbor in his speech at all. -
article what do Packers fans think of this whole "bounty" issue in the sports news? IMO, this is not a big deal and i would be shocked if the packers were the only team doing this. I could have sworn i heard stories of a quarterback taking his o-line out for dinner or giving them money if they protected him during the game. How is that any different?!?!?!?! NFL stands for No Fun League

then thats the post you should have mentioned instead of your AHL analogy question

Eva, you overlook the fact that Mcfadden is doing everything. Rushing, receiving and passing. Hart is not. But ultimately you have an excellent point. McFadden might get the invite to NYC but only because of his name and what he did last year than this year. It's a shame too. Kansas's Reesing deserves the Heisman much more than Run DMC.

Steve Hutchinson didn't allow a sack his final 2 seasons and yet he didn't finish anywhere in the top 10.

100 top NFL prospects Interesting list. Wonder how michigan fans would feel if they saw Crable or Hart or both ending up in a Lions jersey.

The topic was about motorsports, not hockey. To be specific, this thread was designed around jeff gordon and a member's opinion that he is the best rac car driver ever. NO ONE MENTIONED AHL OR FRED GLOVER EVER!! All i posted was a reminder to you that derailing the thread is against the forum guidelines. Here is another forum guideline back to the topic: What about Michael Schumaker? I am surprised the F1 fans in this site haven't posted yet.

where in the title does it say anyting about ahl or hockey for that matter.
-
that's because michigan didn't dominate msu in that game. Michigan dominated the first half and state dominated the 2nd half.

I was in Florida 4-5 years ago when the Wings were in town. I got 6th row tickets and wore my Wings jersey to the game. Amazing to be in a visiting arena and hear everyone cheer "let's go Red Wings".

what am i looking forward to or what would be the best for the NHL??? What am i looking forward to: Detroit vs anyone from the East What is best for NHL. NY vs LA

Arizona to me has a better chance of making the playoffs rather than the Lions. And right now, they deserve it more. Teams that overlook Arizona or Tampa Bay will be sorry. They both have outstanding defenses.

Link While looking for lyrics for the hey hey hockeytown song, I stumbled across this. Never heard it before but I must say this is pretty funny. "They are the icemen from Detroit!!!"

Offical Lloyd Carr retirement thread
timothy1997 replied to RockyMountainWingGal's topic in Other Sports
Just what we need, a whole bunch of Tressel's running around. Oh wait, we already have one in Michigan State. -
Henne was 11 for 34, 68 yards, comp % of 32.4. 3 sacks, 0 tds, 0 ints. How can you say that Henne played well with those stats? ...and if manningham wouldn't have caught that td pass or hart wouldn't have picked up the ball and ran for a first down on the fumble, Michigan State would have beaten Michigan.

Offical Lloyd Carr retirement thread
timothy1997 replied to RockyMountainWingGal's topic in Other Sports
I think it has to do with two reasons. #1 Carr's record against Tressel #2 Carr's record in bowl games. -
I can see the confusion at fox sports. Joe Thornton played for Boston, now plays for the Sharks, Uconn is one of the top teams in the New England area, they wiish he was still in New England, so there.
-
Since we don't have a NFL thread and I am too lazy to create one, I will just post my comment here and have someone either comment or not. Can someone tell me why these New England Patriots aren't the greatest nfl team ever? This team is just steamrolling everyone they run into this season.
