Very good possibility of that happening. Kansas and Missouri play this week, with the winner playing Oklahoma. Oklahoma can play spoilers and beat either one of those teams. That leaves just West Va and OSU with 1 loss. The Buckeyes have an outside shot at the title game. Plus when you look at the team the 1 loss teams in LSU, West Va, and Ohio State have lost too, the Buckeyes have a clear advantage LSU: Kentucky West Va: USF OSU: Illinois And the weird part is even if Ohio State gets to the title game, no guarntee that Illinois would get in the bowl to replace them. How about a Kansas-Hawaii Rose Bowl?

What's the bowl lineup look like for the Big Ten? Here is what I think. Rose: Ohio State Capital One: Illinois Outback: Michigan Alamo: Wisconsin Champs: Penn State Insight: Michigan State Motor City: Indiana Poinsetta: Purdue I skipped over Iowa despite them having a 4-4 record in the Big Ten due to them having only 6 wins. Big Ten is only supposed to have 7 teams in bowl games which makes it tough around the last few bowls on which team is most deserving. Top 5 in Ohio State, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin and Penn State are a virtual lock in.

very nice post on Carr. Even tho I hated Carr for coaching my school's main rival, I respected him so much. I remember the days when Bo coached Michigan and I find it hard to find another coach like Bo, but Carr is right up there. Here is to Carr's future and hopefully he is surrounded anyway with Michigan football.

I disagree with you Lou. Giants make the playoffs as the top wild card team. They have a good chance of winning their wild card round game. But I will agree with you that if the Giants go to Dallas or Green Bay, they will not win that game. NFC Championship will be Dallas and Green Bay with the home team winning.

I agree with you on this one. The Giants are a very tough team and no way are they a pushover. The winner of this weekend's game "should" make the playoffs at least as a wild card along with Dallas and Green Bay. The loser gets thrown right in the mix and if it's the Lions, I am not sure they would still come out of it with the wild card. This is a huge game for the Lions this weekend, not to mention just a huge week period with a short turn around before the thanksgiving day game.

am i that predictable? sheesh. sorry blak, i have to agree with this post instead of yours. While I cannot stand Michigan, they are an elite program. They are not THE program in college football but they are up there. Michigan is a top 10 college football program, if not a top 5.
