Not sure about beating the Bears tho. They played probably the best team in the NFC in Dallas last night and held the cowboys to 3 pts in the first half. They let that game go in the 2nd half. If Chicago can ever find an offense, they will be a force. I don't think that will happen unless they change their QB. Could happen this week tho. I kinda liked the Bengals jerseys in the 80s. I like the classic ones. I think the worst jerseys in the NFL are the Chargers new ones,

kinda glad my VCR screwed up today and didn't tape the Lions game. Missed a whole game worth of stress.

Right you are. How many tight ends play defensive end as well??? The thing is that if John LLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL were still in East Lansing, that kid wouldn't play on the field much. Tight Ends weren't apart of his spread offense. Some of those questions should be answered next saturday when Michigan State plays Wisconsin.

Eagles jerseys for sunday GOOD GOD THOSE ARE AWFUL!! :puke:

looking at the schedule, would they really put Michigan in the top 25 after beating their next 3 teams? Northwestern, Eastern Michigan, and Purdue. Purdue is going to be the biggest game of the next 3 but really they need to beat Illinois and Minnesota too and be in the top 25 heading into the MSU game IMO. If MSU is not in the top 25 yet, they would be in if they can beat their next opponent. Wisconsin.

I know exactly how you feel. I honestly fear the game against Indiana more than Michigan, even tho Michigan is way better.
-
nice win for both Michigan and Michigan State. Michigan OWNS Penn State Michigan State OWNS South Bend. in a word. NO

Bueller........Bueller.......Bueller.........

If we go to 4 divisons, can we bring back the old divison names?? Dying to see the Norris, Smythe, Patrick, and Adams divison names again.
-
Ok. I got 4 WRs in my FF league. One WR is Terrell Owens. The other 3 I am struggling to decide who to go with or possibly drop. Who do I start? Who do I possibly drop? Ronald Curry, Oakland Santana Moss, Washington Reggie Brown, Philadelphia WRs I have considered picking up Anthony Gonzalez, Indy Joe Horn, Atlanta Derrick Mason, Tennessee Terry Glenn, Dallas

first off, its Jason HANSON..not HANSEN. If you're gonna pick up the player, at least know how to spell his name. Second, the Bengals scored 48 pts last sunday. Graham is a good Kicker to have. Bad news is the Bengals also gave up 51 pts, STAY AWAY FROM THEIR DEFENSE!!

to expansion. Need to make the NHL better first to the casual fan before talk of expansion. Better tv coverage would definately help.

Notre Dame still has to find offense in order to compete. The Irish probably wont get a win until they play Navy.
-
reminded me of Elway in the Super Bowl. I don't remember the last time we had a leader in the QB position like Kitna. Probably Kramer was the last one.
-
this is either going to be a disappointing loss or a huge win for the Lions. This is a game that can make or break your season...even in week 2. LIONS WIN!!! KITNA IS THE MAN!! ALL HEART BABY!!
-
i think its safe to say that the Lions need Kitna like we need air. The one player on this team we cannot lose to injury.
-
Notre Dame hasn't beaten Michigan State in South Bend since 1993 when George Perles was running the Spartans.
-
MEGATRON!!! Nice catch by Johnson.
-
don't they do that every year?? They broadcast the preseason and maybe first week of the season free. They do the same thing with baseball and basketball.
-
damn. The one player we couldn't lose in the offense, Kitna is out. JT is playing well tho. I don't know about other Lions fans who have watched both games this year so far..but I really like the way the Lions offense is working. Very exciting. Now if they can only run the ball, especially inside the 20.
-
The thing that impressed me was MSU's defense. I felt going into the season that Caulcrick and Ringer would be a great 1-2 HB combo and Kellen Davis and Devan Thomas would probably see the ball more under this new coach. My concern was the defense, especially the cornerbacks. Nice to see them step up and have a big game. Now hopefully MSU has reached the top 25, if not...the top 30.

dude, ready my sentence more closely. The key phrase is "RIGHT NOW". This post was taken right after the Appy State loss and when you look at Michigan football historically, that loss is embarrassing to alumni and teams of past. Don't put words in my mouth. No way did I say or even imply that Michigan doesn't have a good football program. As a MSU fan, I would love to have the tradiition and history the University of Michigan has in their football program. I think your way off base when you say that my posts are confusing here in this thread and somehow built all around my hatred for Michigan.

only if there are less than 2 outs. when there are 2 outs, the infield fly rule doesn't apply.

Just passing along a message to DirecTV users that Versus has changed from channel 608 to 603. Had to get that channel programmed on my guide in time for the new season.

in 2004, the Lions won their first game...on the road in Chicago. They went on to beat Houston the next week to start 2-0.....all went downhill from there as the Lions finished 6-10. Could we be seeing the same type of start this year? Perhaps.
