Anyone else see this while watching the game? I saw it and laughed my a** off. Thanks whomever that was. Made the loss easier to take. Here is the picture for those that missed it.

first red wing memories for me where the 80s with players like yzerman, kocur, probert, carson, chaisson, burr, gallant, barr, chevalade, and my favorite red wing Adam Oates. Damn i feel old.

I agree. NFM#25. While emotions are at a high now with this series and I wouldn't like anything more than to send the ducks to the golf course as quick as possible, this still doesn't warrant bashing of their fans. Hockey fans are very passionate fans and I respect them for being loyal to their team. IMO, aside from Pronger....I like a lot of these duck players. They are quality players and combined together make a helluva team. I would rather cheer for them over the Kings or Sharks if I lived in Cali.

This happens all the time. Local coverage whatever that may be gets to televise round 1 and 2 in the playoffs, coverage goes national from this point on.

Lions chances of winning super bowl = chances of Wings, Pistons, Tigers winning titles.

this is a huge problem that the NBA has. They claim this happens because of TV schedules, but the biggest problem is they don't reseed teams after each round like the other sports do. This year is a perfect example of the problem. Dallas was best team in west record wise followed by Phoenix and San Antontio. Dallas got knocked off in 1st round but the Suns and Spurs advanced....so they play each other in round 2 making the Western Conference Finals meaningless. At least the NHL has it right in setting it up to make the two best teams in the conference on collison course like the Wings & Ducks have been.

my prediction is the Lions will draft Calvin Johnson and trade him to Tampa for Gaines Adams. Hopefully the lions will be able to get some 2nd rounders or future 1st rounders with that trade. In the round 2, I would love to see the Lions draft the QB Trent Edwards. That kid is a stud and a steal in round 2. Bulk up the line and sneak in some skilled players like Edwards and the draft will be fine by me.

Hockey is a game with rich in traditions compared to the other major sports (ie cup raising, handshaking at the end of a series, good stuff like that). It's funny how stupid love affair with a rat in 96 led to the decline of truly one the best traditions in hockey.

awesome job on the GDT always aflac. Why isn't Cleary's nickname used tho. Love the franzenstein one, the pain train should be right up there. tickets in detroit are expensive. economy not doing well either.

not even close. Yzerman's was a game 7 2OT goal. If the Blues scored then, the season would have been over. Not as much pressure in this game.

The only good part about working for Wal-Mart is because the company promotes nothing but themselves the story, I can actually put on a cd on the way home, avoid coming online, and rewind the VCR tape and watch the game as if it was live. Only problem is how long do I set the VCR and how do I know when the wings game is over so I can stop taping.

It's offical from me. I will not be attending the party tomorrow. I am now re-scheduled to work more hours tomorrow due to another worker quitting today. Sorry for not being able to be there guys and girls. BetterREDthandead, have a fun & safe trip here in Detroit.

The Lions have made the big gamble. They have been active in the draft. The draft where they picked up Kevin Jones was pure gensis. To move up like that and get a steal is unbelievable. Lots of teams will just sit there and no do much.

Won't find out until tomorrow. Consider me a "game time decision".
