Let us not forget that you said you were a realistic and MSU would have no chance against the Michigan Tate Forciers, but thats in another thread. the twins went 16-4 in their final 20 games....3 of their losses were against the Tigers. Scott Baker has NEVER pitched well against the Tigers. The tigers bullpen has been solid all year so I like our chances if they can hold the lead and get it to the late innings, regardless of how we fared against the Twins this year at the dome.

Real tiger fans don't say "f*** the tigers" or say its over and "I will be shocked if they win" after only 2 innings. Galarraga might be the only one who deserves a shot over Fiagro. Porcello was scheduled to pitch that day but the rainout on monday screwed it up and forced porcello to pitch on tuesday instead. Washburn and Willis are both battling injuries (head probs). Bondo they are trying him for the bullpen. Tuesday is at 5pm EST tiger fans so get outta work early to catch the game. Also Quick turnaround for whomever the winner is. Game 1 of the ALDS against the Yankees is 6pm on Wednesday. Sounds to me like Jackson will pitch game 1 if we win on tuesday

Just look at the basic things in MLB. First not all ballparks are the same size. Cool in a way but still hard to find balance. Imagine if the Joe had a much bigger ice surface than any other rink. They would be crying their eyes out a ton. Also half the league uses the DH and rest doesn't. Thats like saying that the Western Conference of the NHL is gonna have 6 skaters instead of 5 in the East. Good luck East. I say MLB needs to establish more of a playoff system like the NFL. Give some teams a free pass for working hard during the season and let 2 divison winners auto advance to the conference series. Then you can have 1 divison winner and 3 wild card teams fight for advancement. Also bring back daytime playoff baseball. So cool growing up how they would have games at 1pm, 4pm and then 7pm. tripleheaders of playoff baseball!!

I am done with this team. They do not want to win this divison. For some reason (and i am comparing this team to the 2006 team), Jim Leyland's tigers collaspe down the stretch. I don't think I could ever say "f*** the tigers". I have called them pathetic in my days. My grandpa would call them "bums". But what did he do when I was over to watch a tigers game with him...tell me turn on the tv to watch "those bums". 2006 was the only year that I can recall when he called them something else. He called them his team. He is gone now but I know he would be proud of this team and I have a strange feeling that he would be prouder of this team than the 2006 team.
