Anyone else have a bad feeling about this Sunday's game for the Lions?? They are playing a Bears team with nothing more left to win so they will likely be resting starters..and just when you think NO WAY the Lions can beat that team, they do. Hopefully I am wrong but I sorta see this loss..er, win screwing up the Lion's draft position.

The more I think about it, the more I admire what the Lions are doing. The NFL has shown us that you can win one week and lose the next regardless of what teams your playing. Not the case with the Lions. In a NFL filled with parity, the Lions remain consistant. Week in and week out they always find new and exciting ways to tank it in ways you wouldn't even think of. I know EXACTLY what I am going to get out of the Lions every weekend. Thank you Detroit for being an example of consistancy for everyone else.

About 100 Partizan fans and a few dozen PAOK supporters fought several hundred Red Star fans in the stands and on the court at the Pionir Sports Hall in the Serbian capital. Fans also tossed flares and plastic seats. "One of the fans sustained serious injuries, including a fractured arm," Kajganic said, adding that several people were detained as suspected instigators of the violence. She did not say which team's fans were injured. Two police officers were injured while trying to keep the rival groups apart. The start of the game was delayed for about 30 minutes. PAOK won 85-81. I'll admit that would work Matt, but I still like my "and 1" idea. The system would be set up like this. Rose Bowl USC vs Boise State Sugar Bowl LSU vs Oklahoma Orange Bowl Wake Forest vs Louisville Fiesta Bowl Michigan vs Florida Winner of the Fiesta Bowl would play Ohio State for National Championship.

The coaches and harris poll all felt that Florida was the 2nd best team in the nation. The SEC was a better conference this year than the Big Ten.You make it seem like Florida didn't do anything special. Florida had the toughest schedule in NCAA, they beat 5 teams in the final BCS top 25 standings compared to Michigan's 3. Michigan is the team that didn't do anything special. They beat Notre Dame and Wisconsin. BIG WHOOP!! Florida beat LSU and won their conference. You can cry all you want about how Michigan only lost to OSU by 3 pts but the game shouldn't have been that close. The Buckeyes turned the ball over 3 times! In this year, the Michigan-Ohio State game would have been MEANINGLESS based on both teams would have made it in the top 4 in the nation regardless of who won. A 4 or 8 team playoff system would ruin it for the smaller conferences. Do you really think Boise State would be in the top 8 under a playoff system?? Boise State is going to the Fiesta Bowl well deserving of their bid, going undefeated.

How the hell can the Lions beat the Falcons with ease and lose to the Cards?? That is something I will never understand. I am so glad I am not a lions fan right now. I am a "Lions fan on strike". I envy so many other teams out there that are pathetic. The Titans & 49ers are 5-7 now. I would kill for a record like that at this time of the year. Just to flirt with the playoffs just a bit. To know that your team is getting better. Not the Lions. They are getting worse and worse. I find myself rooting for a lions loss more and more than a win. At least then we can get a good draft pick. Probably will blow any chance of that by making a field goal on christmas eve to beat a pathetic saints team like last year. Oh s***....I just realized. Lions play the Bears on xmas eve. You don't think that they will win that game and screw up our draft position like last year.
