I like the deal. Illitch is opening his pocketbook once again to get a player to have the Tigers win NOW. I also like the fact that we really didnt give up anyone from our MLB roster to get him.

The topic was on the chances of the loser of the Michigan-Ohio State game would make to get to the National Championship game. Florida and Texas wins out, how can they be passed up for a 1 loss michigan or ohio state team. Texas would have a real good case having lost to Ohio State previously this season.

Anyone know where their is a list of MLB free agents this year. I wouldnt mind losing nate or bonderman as long as we get a stud in return like Teixeria. I would love to see him in the D.

Bonderman for Texieria has a good chance of happening. Especially if Bonderman cant be locked in for a long time here.

Very unlikely. If you lose late in the season, it costs you more than losing a game early. If there is a rematch game in the National Championship game... it could be Michigan vs Notre Dame. ND still has the one loss to Michigan and if the irish go to USC and beat the trojans....hard to pass up on them dispite having one loss compared to a louisville or rutgers team, even if they are undefeated.

West Va @ Louisville is a pretty big regular season game this year. It appears that the winner of that game will play the winner of the Michigan-Ohio State game for the championship.

THANK YOU TIGERS! Thank you for an incredible season reaching expectations that I would have ever imagined back in March/April. Don't hang your head down Tigers fans. I know we haven't seen the last of this team. Like the wings in 95, it took some eye opening to get them champions. Tigers will be champions soon enough. See you in 2007 Tigers.

not sure what guaranteeing a "wing" for the tigers tonight means. Buffalo Wings? Mmmmmm... Anyway, love the faith. I still havent given up on the Tigers. Yes, last night's loss hurt but we still are 1 win away from bringing this series back to Detroit and anything can happen here. GO GET'EM TIGERS!!

this is the type of game in which I have seen in series past that the winner of this game could very well get a boost of momentum enough to win the world series. Both teams playing great and this appears to be down to the final pitch. great game.
