how the tigers can lose their last 5 games when all they really needed was 1 more win is mind blowing. I had to work today so I was going nuts, not knowing what was going on. I took my lunch break strategticly around 1-2pm only to head back in feeling pretty good about a 6-0 lead. I was shocked when I got out of work at 5pm to find the game was still on. I live 40 mins away from work so the only thing on my mind was getting home as quickly as possible to catch the end. The game ended with me 2 miles away from home. The sadest two miles I ever drove home. Thanks for the 95 win season tigers and hope that the good string of wild cards doing well in the playoffs continue.

Michigan State Football = Detroit Lions ah well. Didnt see the MSU choke job today but from what I heard, it was pretty brutal. Missing a lot of football lately due to work. Which may explain why I am not stressed out on weekends.

I should stop going to tigers games. Went yesterday only to see them lose 7-4 to the jays. The tigers are 0-6 when I see them play at comerica.

Bobby Williams was the coach in between. I never liked John L. Smith. His coaching kills the team more than helps them. Mariucci has always been a very good college football coach. He got lucky with good players in san fran IMO. Mariucci to MSU would make a lot of sense since he is from michigan and his best friend, Tom Izzo, coaches the MSU basketball team.

looking at their schedule...they got a good shot at doing that. I think the key is getting to 0-7 and then getting that boost during their bye week. The 49ers game and the turkey day matchup against Miami are the only games I am worried about in the 2nd half.

If John L gets fired, Mariucci will be new head coach at MSU.

Notre Dame is wayyyyyyyyy overrated. Charlie Weis's playcalling is so predictable. Irish better do something quick or this season will be a disaster.

thats why i dont have purdue winning the big ten title bc i think that ohio state will win that. Purdue will loss at least 3 games this year...

I would honestly be more worried about Purdue sneeking in the back door to win the Big Ten Title. They have a big ten season that doesnt include michigan or ohio state. what is up with that?!?!?!

Normally by this time of the year, I have long buried the tigers and pray for something to keep me occupied until the wings play. I did something very strange this past sunday. I watched the tigers game over the lions. I can honestly say that I dont think that has ever happened to me before. I missed the whole lions-bears game....and it feels really good. Everyone should try it sometime.

as the rankings are right now, Florida plays 5 teams in the top 20. Michigan only plays 3. Florida deserves to be ranked high on the standings, but relax michigan fans...the standings mean nothing til the end. West Virginia is the best team in the Big East. Michigan is not the best team in the Big 10. Michigan is only good as long as ND keeps winning. Thats something that is hardest to comprehend. YOU BENEFIT THE MOST IF THE TEAM YOU BEAT, WINS. If ND crumbles and loses 5-6 games this year, what will this past weekends win mean.....answer...NOTHING. Michigan needs ND to win out.

I must say, I was impressed by the maize and blue today. Hats off to you UM. I did not see this one coming and you surprised a lot of people today. Nice win.

In the past, Michigan had better teams than they do lately. Notre Dame has had one of the best teams they have had in the most recent few years in this year's team. I am also taking in account that Michigan has not won in South Bend since 1994. LSU-Auburn is a conference game in the tough SEC and my feelings on the SEC are that the conference has tons of classic rivals....and teams usually beat up on each other during the season. Teams are lucky to escape with 1 loss.
