Nothing would make me happier than Hossa being the first person Lidstrom hands the Cup tonight. I shouldn't say that, there's a lot of things that would make me happier. But in terms of hockey tonight, that would be tops.

I love the rationalizations. Well, it's OK when Detroit does it because Crosby was behaving in a way that actually sucked. Since Chicago and Nashville chant "Detroit sucks" instead of "Red Wings suck" maybe its commentary on the city. Let's face it, based on the clowns that are running Detroit, the economy, the city services (or lackthereof), the number of abandoned neighborhoods and buildings, etc; by an objective standard it does suck. Still love the D though.

Cheering is still OK. But ONLY if the cheering is positive and you cheer equally for both teams. Otherwise you're being classless

Toughness doesn't have to mean a bunch of goons on skates. If you think Babcock doesn't like tough players, I believe you are sorely mistaken. Toughness means going into the corners to battle for the pucks, finishing your checks, and holding your ground in front of the net. Which is exactly what has happened under Babcock and what was missing under Lewis.

Doesn't this board get its collective panties in a bunch when the Nashville or Chicago fans chant that a Detroit player sucks? Strange I haven't seen such outrage about the classless "Crosby sucks" chant... I loved it...absolutely loved it. Good to see some life at The Joe. Maybe the tea-and-crumpets crowd skipped out on Cup tickets.

Milbury has shown a lot of love for the Wings this series. The best was when Pierre was going on about the interference the Wings allegedly get away with and Milbury told him to stop whining.

That's a good point. It would be a real slap in the face to Detroit by having a company spend tens of millions of dollars on another company that is based in Detroit. What an insult!

Your argument would be so much better if Hossa had been drafted by the Pens, played with them for a long time, and then jumped ship; instead of being on the Pens roster for a whole three months. Maybe he is a jerk, but by the end of the week, he'll be a jerk holding the Cup.
