^^^ Exactly. This isn't the 2002 team that's loaded up with offensive firepower. I'd imagine you want something like what Buffalo does? Do the Wings have the tools to play a fast, uptempo offensive? I don't really think they do. And how has Babcock had 3 years to figure out how to beat the trap with the Wings, when this is only his second season here?

Unless the western conference gets 2 new teams or the teams are split up MLB style, there's nothing that can be done about it, other than hoping west coast teams don't make the playoffs.

I would say Rob Parker is overrated, but I don't think there's anyone who would say he's any good to start with.
