No touch icing is used in NCAA hockey and it works fine. I'd be in favor of using it in the NHL.

Pathetic is right. After checking the PWR this morning, with the bonus MSU is tied for 16th with UMass and St. Lawrence. Unfortunately, both those schools still have a higher RPI. I have to agree that it's going to take MSU getting to the CCHA championship to make the tournament.

I usually hear it called soda instead of coke down here, even when ordering a drink. My girlfriend is from Tennessee, and there if you want a pop, you order a coke and they ask you what kind you want. I still call it pop, and say "you guys" instead of "y'all."

Nice to see State snap their losing streak and beat up on BF. It's senior night for the Spartans tonight, they need to send their 5 seniors off in style with a win. On the plus side, with the win State locks up 4th place and a first round bye. And they moved into sole possession of 13th place in the PWR.

You apparently have never been tailgating at Michigan State. If you want a good atmopshere in the US for a game, be it football, hockey, basketball, or whatever, you need to go to a college game.

I don't see anything wrong with it. It was a down year for MSU, Wisky has had MSU's number lately, it was a tough game, and it was the first time MSU ever beat a #1 team during the regular season. None of the kids there were around for the championship in 2000. Maybe half of them were around for the final four in 2005. It was an emotional game and everyone got caught up. Izzo said he didn't have problem with it, so I don't see anything wrong. It's a lot better than when Duke rushed the floor after beating unranked VT one year. Better get em quick, this are going to be a collector's item

That's your rational for having American police forces use German cars? The Amercan car companies have too small of cup holders, so we should punish them by making the cops use German autos. Again, why would it make sense to have police forces, who are usually strapped for cash as it is, especially now that a lot of federal funding they used to get is drying up, use cars that are more expensive, have more expensive parts, and cost more to get fixed. In addition, what benefit would the police forces obtain by using a BMW 5 series over a Crown Vic?
