Yeah, I know the Marlins would never take that deal. I'd still like to trade Maroth though, and Johnson too. Back to 5 games out of the wild card and a three game series against wild card leader Oakland. Tonight, Robertson v. Zito.

The only way Manny could ever be of use to the Tigers is if he played DH and nothing else. Could you imagine him trying to cover ground in Comerica's outfield??

Trammell isn't going anywhere. And really, who should the Tigers get to manage? I know there's a lot of people who think Tram should be gone, but I never hear who should replace him. I wouldn't mind them trading Maroth now. I heard on another board there's a rumor the Marlins want to trade Burnett for Maroth and Granderson. I'd love to see Maroth go, but no way would I want to lose Granderson. Give them Logan instead.

Chris Shelton rocks! As far as the playoffs. As of right now, they're only 5 games out. Unfortunately, they have the Twins, Yankees, Orioles, Rangers, A's, and Indians in front of them. Its going to take a lot to make the playoffs. GO TIGERS!

Exactly. The Canucks may be dumb (see keeping Clouts as their goaltender) but they're not that dumb. I could see them asking for something like Zetterberg or Datsyuk and Fischer. They're not going to take an undersized overpaid winger, an AHL player, and a grinder who's best years are behind him.

While he's certainly no all star, could we really trade him and have it be an upgrade? Dandenault's fast, should be cheap, and he can play offense and defense, which is nice if someone gets injured.

That's cool Rochester is in the division now, more chances to see Ryan Miller. Good move by the AHL, this makes a lot more sense than having San Antonio and Houston in the same division with GR.

I really think it depends on the sport. In football, Michigan v. OSU wins hands down. But in all other sports, especially hockey, I think MSU v. Michigan is bigger.
