I was laughing at that picture earlier today, and heard it was a draw, but certainly doesn't look like it. Even if it was, it's impressive. 8 inches is a huge reach to give up.

Redwingscentral.com has got a great article on Kindl. I found it interesting that he had been interviewed by 27 teams, and the Wings were one of the 3 that didn't talk to him. Also says he's excited about meeting Fischer.

Most of the crap I've been reading has him out until mid-november. Plus if Mogilny's plastic hip faulters, he will spend significant time on IR.

You know, I never thought Datsyuk was that fast, but then he was in the all-star games fastest skater comp. How does that happen? He actually did pretty good, seeming how he screwed up at the start.

A lot of people think he's the next St.Louis, but he's not nearly as fast and has a bad work ethic. Usually tiny guys can fly, which helps them in tight NA rinks, but he's slow and right around 5'7. If he gets his s**t togethor and comes to play every night, he could very well anchor a second line winger spot. I know he's a center, but I think he'll have better luck on the wing. Seems like another problem just waiting to happen, with an attitude just like Sergei's.

Doesn't really work out. Hows about He drops his gloves more than Paris drops her pants? Or We need grit more than Paris needs acting lessons? I hope Big Snake works out, he's already a fan favorite and hasn't even played a game for us.

I dunno, I think I'de pull the trigger if the opportunity presented its self. We are gonna need good D-men coming up, because Lidstrom is 35, Schnieder is 36, and Chelios is 913. Kronwall, Stuart, and Fischer would be a somewhat solid pairing, and If Kindl turns out to not suck ass, we'de be in great shape in 3-4 years.

Ilya and Dany. If you keep Hossa and Kovalchuk on your team, and they get shut out, your f***ed. Plus you can get St.Louis or someone else extremely good with trading either Hossa or Kovalchuk. I currently have both Alfredson and Havlat and am looking to move one.

Wow, the leafs will either suck with half their team on IR, or it just might pay off. They won't win the cup or anything, but could squeak out a decent season.

Kinda cool to see some of the top picks will be playing there, Brule from Columbus and Pouliot from Minnesota. Alex Bourret will be there from Atlanta, which should be fun to watch. Atlanta also has Coburn, Valabik, and Manson, who are 6'5, 6'6, and 6'8. Tampa also has all huge d-men, not 1 under 6'2. I'de love to see the wings roster, but they haven't posted it yet.

He used to hate Montreal. He has said several times he would never play for them again. That was of course after his little run in with the wings, but I doubt he just let it go like that.

f**king Fantastic!!! Best goddamn news all off season. A goaltender who has a knack for coming up HUGE in games that count, I can't wait. We now have a log-jam of goalies, which leads me to believe one of 2 things. MacDonald won't be back or we are gonna trade somebody. Howard didn't leave college a year early to play backup. And the only reason Montoya was drafted as high as he was was because of the world junior championship. Many people have now began to question if he shoulda went that high.

Hanzal or Bourret. I woulda pooped if we got Bourret.
