Was stuck in LA traffic and listening to hockey night in Canada. Bettman asked Kenny regarding deadline trades. Kenny confirmed that it would be a dept forward and or a D if he could find one. Those were his words " if we could find any" So it would be safe not to excpect a big name player.

Selanne's 19th of the season was also the 656th of his career, tying him with Brendan Shanahan for 12th place on the NHL list. It came a night after Boudreau sat the veteran for much of the third period in a 2-1 victory over Minnesota. Would be nice for him to add a Stanley Cup with the Wings before he retires.

That sucks ! Hope he will be ok.

LOL That is some funny stuff !

"It's incredible, it truly is. Twenty-one games in a row at home, let alone five in a row at home, is amazing. It's a tremendous accomplishment for their organization." -- Stars' Steve Ott on the Red Wings' 21-home-game record winning streak

Too late ! Shany should have anticipated that he may score and have the suspension handed out beforehand.

While a blockbuster trade for Nash would make headlines, it might not be the best move for the Rangers, according to The Wall Street Journal. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970204883304577223682329163866.html

Has Nostradamus predicted that Preds are going to be champs in this decade ?

I agree that Nash and everyone should show up to work every day. However some professionals: scientist, doctors , hockey players require encouragement and or motivation. Nash gets none in Columbus. Sometimes you have to squeeze it out of them, sometimes they need a change to get motivated. By that I don't mean bigger paycheck. That is what I ment. On a personal note my understanding of professionalism is far greater than you may think. Go Wings!

Yes. Very loyal fans.

We should send big E to them to boost their D.

Looks good and a great idea ! I'll try to sneak in to Kremline In Moscow nex year and take a picture with my Datsyuk home jersey !

I have found these on Odjick Odjick, a full blooded Algonquin Indian who grew up in poverty on the Maniwaki reserve in Quebec, shouldn't have lasted as long as he did in the NHL. But the two were inseparable, and Odjick acted as the link between the team and its distant superstar.

Can't blame Nash for being lazy. It is the team he is playing for. Put anybody in his position and they will loose interest in playing competitive Hockey instantly. Need motivation. Red Wings is as good as it gets for being motivated and being competitive. Try that !

Let's just tell Kenny we want Nash in Detroit and Hudler packaged with Big E in Columbus. We can say "please" Kenny do it. Jokes on the side that would be great to have him as a Red Wing. We have seen Kenny making unexpected moves. Let's hope this one would be too. Go Wings !

There are several notable people with the surname Bertuzzi: Irnerio Bertuzzi (1919–1962), Italian airplane pilot Todd Bertuzzi (born 1975), Canadian hockey player Gian Ortensio Bertuzzi, Italian Mannerist painter Maria Teresa Bertuzzi, Italian mayor of Coppara[citation needed] Nicola Bertuzzi, Italian Rococo painter From Wiki. Two excellent players. However I have made the team from active NHL players.

package Hudler with big E and send them to Columbus. but it wont happen. Just a wish.

He is listed in wiki under hockey players with Italian roots From wiki Vanbiesbrouck was born in Detroit, Michigan to a Belgian immigrant bricklayer, Robert Vanbiesbrouck, and an Italian immigrant Sara.[1][2] He grew-up with two brothers; the oldest, Frank, who was also a goaltender in youth hockey. He inspired Vanbiesbrouck to play goaltender.[1] John later noted that he learned more about goaltending just from watching Frank than any coaching could, adding that no one ever helped him more to become the player he was.[3] Bertuzzi was born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario. His father, Albert Bertuzzi, is an Italian-Canadian who worked as a miner and in the window-washing business. When Bertuzzi was a teenager, Albert survived a near-fatal car accident in which he was thrown from the vehicle through the windshield. His father has stated that he was proud of his own local reputation as a "dirty player" and referred to it as a "Bertuzzi trait".[1] He has said that Bertuzzi takes after him in regards to his toughness and aggression. Bertuzzi's great-uncle, Larry Bertuzzi, is a Toronto-based lawyer who has done arbitration work for the NHL.[4]
