Crosby doesn't suck but he's a whiney little bitch, however.

Crosby doesn't suck but he's a whiney little *****, however. He does too suck. His lips were never that full, puffy and beet red when he was a kid. Crosby doesn't suck but he's a whiney little *****, however. Maybe, but I think he's more of a butt-punchin ******-nozzle, myself. -
Hard rockin blues. "When I was young, I used to understand that when you're with a girl, you gotta act like a man. My Mamma told me that's the way it should be. And I know my Mamma never lied to me."

Who do I cheer for now? The Tigers.

With the officiating the way it is, I can barely watch Wings games. So, no, if the Wings aren't playing, the NHL doesn't bring enough to the table for me to waste my time.

I was referring to the 2 "interference" calls in game 2. I thought Nabby's balance was exceptionally off. Not his fault that the zebras made the calls, and I certainly didn't want to see him hurt, but if the Wings have to take weak calls like that.....
-
I still think if a goalie wants to come out of his crease and "play" he is fair game. All rules concerning hits should apply.

Did Bettman Say His Officials Actually Make Mistakes!
HOCKEY MATTERS replied to CenterIce's topic in General
Exactly. Call the games consistently and let the better team win on their own merit. But, alas, my friend. We dream. -
This is why I'm such a bad man. See, I wanted Lebda to absolutely run Nabby in game 2. My thoughts were..."you wanna see goalie interference? here's some goalie interference for ya".... Lebda out wouldn't be that big of a deal, huh? OT, cool that the goalie was laughing. I've never played goalie, but can you even hurt one by checking them to the ice? All those pads.....

Now you're getting the picture. Some folks just like to troll argue debate. You can't win the discussion, though. Just when you make a valid point, the sand under your feet shifts.......

It's not the Sharks fault if the refs lean their way. When the refs lean our way, I never hear anyone on the LGW puffing up in protest. The Sharks are handling this exactly like the Wings would....they'll take bad calls that help them. We do. It would be retarded to think they wouldn't. I fault the refs, not the Sharks.

WCSF Game 2 GDT: Red Wings 3 at Sharks 4

12:48, my local time. Just now logging on to my home away (well inside, on my pc)from home. Figured it would be best to not post angry, especially last night. I'm glad I waited to show up here. My faith in LGW is well founded. I am more retarded than many of you. I am less retarded than many of you also. Thanks again, LGW, for helping me realize I have about "average" retardation. note: my anger has turned into some sort of manic passive-aggressive depression. as long as i try not to htink about last night, my brain doesn't hurt. lol. -
Penaty ratio: 11 to 4. Yep, that's J-Ho's fault. Ozzie would've done much better. Cujo, too...much better. Riiiight.

I began watching the Wings in the early 70's. That's when I became a hockey fan. Even through the "Dead Wings" era, when they used to lure fans in by giving away cars. I've been through a lot with my beloved Wings. I stopped being a fan of the NHL long ago. After last night's game I am having trouble calling myself a hockey fan. What happened last night was not hockey. The spirit of hockey is in danger of dying for fans like me that remember what it used to be. Maybe that is ok with the NHL. Maybe a newer, younger, "conditioned" fan can accept last night's outcome because they haven't been witness to the "old days", and therefore be less bothered by the amount of impact referee's are having on the outcome of games. Maybe these newer fans have come to expect referee participation in the outcome of games and are not "surprised" by it. Maybe this is how the NHL sees it. I don't think they care if they lose me as a fan. I'm ok with that. I just hope the Red Wings stay true to form and battle through the 10 on 5 hockey, and find a way to win. When the refs play a trap that the Wings can no longer figure out, my reason for watching will be gone. Thanks, Gary.
