OP. I would think if you wanted people with any degree of intelligence to respond favorably to your posts, as out in left field as they may be, use some punctuation, sentence structure, grammar and capitol letters. If your just goofing, your opening post is cool. If you want to be taken seriously........ Just sayin. edit: Wow. Start a thread like this and then disappear. I am surprised.

My wife and I went on a hike sponsored by a local hiking club. It was at the Holly State Recreation Area, about 45 minutes from home, on Saturday January 16. Just a nice 5 mile stroll around a lake in the park..... There were about 25 of us meandering along the trail ..... A little creek across the path.... Looking through a berry patch at the frozen lake....

I think the Wings have appeased the Hockey Gods' "Injury Quota" for an extended period. Now is the time the Wings will get their season rolling in high gear and all other teams will be visited by the injury bug. They slip and we forge ahead! go wings.

With all the injuries the Wings have had, I'm pretty surprised they are doing as well as they are. Take the top 7 -9 players off any other team at the same time....where do you think they would be in the standings. Glad I had a commitment last night that was unavoidable. Shut the tv off when the Wings couldn't clear their defensive zone and the Ducks got a shorty....on our PP. WTF, really? I think the Wings will be on fire as the playoffs draw near...a healthy, rested roster is the ticket. In the meantime, I'll stick my head back up my ass and cheer my team on, thankyouverymuch. edit: i remember the 70's and 80's. this season is a mosquito bite compared to that era. scratch a little and move on.

Exaaaactly. When Hossa came to Detroit on a huge discount we brought out the marching bands. And we laughed in the face of the Pitts fans that were indignant that he went to the hated Wings. Oh, we laughed hard. The Pens fans were crushed that he wouldn't want to stay. Hossa was pretty darn clear that he was a rental for the Wings. We all knew it. Some around here even predicted what is happening now....that some would be booing just like the Pens fans that we laughed so hard at. And we're indignant that Hawks fans are laughing at us? Please. On a Happy Holiday note.....at least the board is raging at Hossa after a 3-0 b2b sh/o.

It looked questionable from the first angle, but the reverse angel shows it was a good hit, imho. It also looked like Alfie looked at Adams just before touching the puck and reached down a little to try and keep possession. Had he not reached down there's no injury. Too bad. Keep your head up.

I still have to decide which ******-nozzle I hate most out of that bunch....haven't voted yet. I just hope we see some good old hockey and some matchups....staged or not. Real men (and women) know that a good hockey fight just can't be beat. Especially if you are at the game.

yep, but that's not flaming or baiting. i always thought if i started a topic for debate, it meant i had a belief in the subject that i wanted to discuss and i would actually hang around and discuss it. jersey advertising is known to be a hot topic around here and it seems this thread was for entertainment purposes only. note to self: don't flame the flamer.

Even though TMZ is entertining isnb a twisted, sad way, they only deliver what people want to watch. I am disappointed at how this country revels in muck, dirt and an opportunity to photograph folks in compromising situations. There is a comedic factor, but it seems to get vicious sometimes. And it's hard not to get drawn in and laugh at other peoples' misfortunes. I watch TMZ occasionally.....then I feel kinda dirty. Then I watch it again. geez. I hope TMZ stays away from sports. Stick with the Hollywood crowd, I say.
