Crysby. Wings will completely shut Crysby down. And he will get hit. Maybe even an ice nap, if he doesn't keep his head up. He will be covered so closely, he won't be able to reach for his mouth guard (when he sees Mule approaching). He's so special they are naming a new penalty for him. At least twice per game. 2 minutes for snivelling. That's a lot of pp goals for the Wings.

I just called to make reservations, and they won't do it for the playoffs. I told them who we are (they know us LGWr's) and they will give us whatever we want once we get there. I will get there around 6:30 and start lining up tables. I told them our count will be around 20. This is going to be great!!

More and more folks checking in. Looks like most can make Sunday. No one seems to have a problem with the BW@ in the Clem. I will make one of those thread things tonite (late)

Sounds like the consensus thus far is Bdubs. Having been to most of them in this area, I have found that the Mount Clemens one has the best service. Everyone ok with this one as our rally point? note: still no official time for puck drop on Sunday. if the time is not final by this afternoon or early evening, i'll that that thread thing anyway.

QFT. It only has to be as meaningful or meaningless as you choose it to be. I am guilty of posting some crappy remarks here when I get pissed, so I usually try to refrain from posting till I cool off. Then I usually don't even bother. Sindy is the greatest! I have never seen anyone that can get tapped on the leg with a stick, twist around in mid air, holding his chest like he just had open heart surgery on the open ice, and play the next shift like he drank a Red Bull. He's a God, I tell you!

I wonder if Sindy is going to be brave enough to punch a Wing in the ass. What a tough-guy. Crysby = Havlat. Ice nap time.

Had classes on Tuesday and Thursday last semester. Missed some games las series. Summer classes are Monday and Wednesday. I just can't win.

I saw Darren and Chelios at the Tiger game last night. Darren is looking very healthy and happy. I almost asked Darren about this, but he was enjoying the game and I didn't want to ruin the moment. I'll post pics later today.

Yep, Hudler getting stitches to the head (no call) sure is getting away with murder. Every team everywhere is convinced that the opponent gets all the breaks and the hometown boys get the shaft. This is nothing new. There's even a classic "why play the game when it's been fixed from the beginning?" one for good measure. Now there's a winning attitude. Champion stuff!

Thanks for the observation. I've been watching his posts since he got here. He doesn't realize that it's not what he says, but how he says it that reveals his personality and nature. The internet is an impersonal way to speak one's mind, and I guarantee most folks don't communicate the same way face to face, because whoop-ass then becomes a factor. You don't have to have manners online. Virtual fat lips can simply be deleted. It takes all kinds to turn a world.

You don't matter, Micah. We live here. We know what it's like here. Detroit proper is not a complete war zone as you allude to. I have to wonder how much time you've actually spent here, and exactly how much of the city you've actually seen. There are plenty of "nice" places to go in the city limits, such as the Detroit Opera House, the Hillberry Theater, the Detroit institute of Arts, the Fox Theater, the State Theater, Greektown and so much more. Most folks I know aren't "afraid" of the City. If you are, then stay away. We don't want you here. I would bet crack can be bought within a mile of wherever you are at this moment. Your gleeful attempt to spark hate on the City is weak. Of all places on the face of God's gray earth, we know better than anyone how to put out a flame. Does it make you feel superior in some way to point out how hard Detroit is. I look at you with pity rather than contempt. What kind of human being would kick a dog when it's down? You are acting like a moosefart. And an *******.

Which means you do see it, it's intentional, and lowers you to flamethrower status. Thanks for clearing that up.
