I always look forward to Wednesdays. Laid off so I got all day to do homework (finally figured out subnetting!). Go to an NA meeting (20 years clean/sober next month) and usually get to see the Wings from middle of the 2nd period on. I like hump day. TPBM knows what a sheeny man is. Lots of sheeny mans around lately.

Wait a minute.....is that?.....yeah, in that little dark area between all the baby feeets.....is taht EVH? I think it is.... Who's that next to him in a Wings tee?

2 losses? 2 frickin losses?! 2 flippin friggin losses??!! This team is a joke. I am not watching hockey with this crappy product on the ice. I was pretty mad....more than once the Nucks should have been short handed toward the end. Wings looked like they could have been a little more enthusiastic. I was pissed that Ozzie didn't use any "Matrix" moves. And yeah....when another team beats us they realy do the happy dance, don't they? They should and we should be happy to let them. We have the cup. And we have class. Sometimes they just lose. Maybe it's the Wings fault, maybe the Nucks got lucky, maybe Toronto or Buttman set it up this way, maybe sometimes they just lose. Get over it. Who we playin next?

I am a Confederate Civil War reenactor. The Colonel of my battalion lives near Peru, IN. I will be at an Officers meeting at his house till early(?) evening. There are some Blues fans that will be there. I will be sporting #8 ........Larionov. Maybe a #13 ..............Koslov, not sure yet. He just moved there. Hope he has cable or satellite. We have a room in Peru, just in case. I think there are going to be quite a few big hits on both sides. Real physical game that is called well. Wings take an early lead but hold on this time. 5-2 Wings, but the flames feel pretty good about themselves after a good game.

...could've sworn that Lids got 2 minutes for holding a few games back......maybe not, but I thought he did.

I suppose if Strikland had said "Wings defense agree...they will all grow a third arm to improve their game." we would believe him and get really worked up?

Someone (can't remember who, sorry) on another thread posted what I've been thinking. These early season points can be very important around game 75-80. We all know the Wings are going to shake this off and get in gear. Tonite's the nite, iI think. 5-1 Wings The usual parade of penalties but the boys keep their composure for all but one sloppy goal of questionable legality.

That is wrong on soooo many levels. Some thoughts, though.... *both my parents are dead. can i pass go and get $200 without the sex and have everybody still be saved? * if my folks were still alive and i had sex with either one of them they would have died ...... so they couldn't be saved....them being family and all.... have i found the loophole out of this? TPBM is confident that that they will remain sane while the country bounces back.

Isn't the Henry Ford coo?! Amazing the amount and variety of history there. I participate itn the Civil War Remembrance weekend there on Memorial Day weekend. They also have very cool holiday stuff going on in the Village for Christmas.

Wings already have a bullseye on their backs, no need to antagonize any more than they already do. I think if the Wings start blowing opponents out by 3 - 5 goals every game the injury list will be longer than the healthy roster. The D is looking much better but I agree...5 on 5 needs some improvement.

Got tix to see Trans-Siberian Orchestra at the Palace in December. Main floor. One of the best shows I have ever seen. woohoooo!
