Unfortunately I will be at Fort Wayne, Detroit this weekend practicing marching and drilling so I can shoot lots of Yankees (not ballplayers) this summer. I am there in spirit.

Which brings up the age-old inner struggle....how important does something have to be to rate missing a playoff game. I'm banking on the idea that God will forgive me.

I am right there with you, I love fried catfish. Fried okra. Fried green tomatoes. Skillet fried chicken. Cornbread in the oven in a skillet. Fried anything and fried everything. That's how I grew up eating. My Daddy was from near Knoxville. Moved up to Michigan & brought all that cookin expertise with him.

It was good times to watch the game with you boys. Even if noone else wants to have good times like these, I'll be glad to meet up with Y'all again!

Wel, we had 3 of us show up at Buffalo Wild WINGS in the Clem. We had a great time. Big screens everywhere you look with the Wings on half and the Tigers on the rest. April in the D, baby! The food was good and the place was packed. We showed up early enough to get the best table in the place. The waitress was awesome. If I was single I would have....well never mind. There will be plenty of notice for the next get together.

I will have a Larinov jersey on. Anyone and everyone else is welcome to join us but if it's just us three, it will still be a blast. It's much more fun to shout at the refs in public rather than in the comfort of home! See you guys there

In a nutshell. Usually the Wings can win 10 on 5 hockey. All Trotz's whining about games 1 & 2 ....seems like the refs are selective about calls. Not complaining at all...as I said the Wings can usually play through 10 on 5. I think we will see a different game on many levles on Friday.

I'm kind of surprised at the lack of interest in this get-together. I guess we could look at a closer venue. Bufalo Wild Wings in the Clem has many screens, but I will travel. Seems like the 3 options at present are Marine City, Richmond and the Clem. I wish more folks wanted to meet up.
