I'm thinking that instead of Babs skating the hell out of the boys today, they should all stand in the corner with their noses in a little white circle on the chalk board. Dunce caps and Groucho Marx glasses seem fitting too.... They can't have played that horribly without trying to suck, could they?

this. I'm sitting in BW2's tonight and I'm the onliest one that clapped when the Rams got to 9. Everyone at the Joe was quiet. Every other Wings fan in BW2's was quiet. WTF!!?? Why wasn't anyone mad?

Me and the Bonehead met up with Rivalred at BW2's in the Clem. He was already there when we got there shortly after the 2nd period started. The score was 5-2 when we sat down. J-Mac was in net. I expected the Wings to knuckle down and pour on the steam. It still amazes me how lackadaisical this team can be. So out of position. Bad passing. Bad line changes. Not challenging opponents when they cross our blue line. No checking at all. Pylons around our own net. I can't even continue with how uninterested they looked tonight (and since the all star break). Could it be that the team is purposely laying back in order to "surprise" everyone when the playoffs start? How else can a team this talented embody so much suck? Geez. note: when the Rams got the field goal to make it 9-3, i was hoping they would get the extra point. seems to me like salt in the wound. i love my Wings, but they deserved the embarrassment they got tonight. i hope like hell this pisses them off and they start playing with a little emotion for a change.

Crack-heads and junkies. They deserve a hit to the head, on the boards, and it's ok to leave your feet.

This. Let's hope the Wings act like a bunch of mother hens around whoever is in goal and actually protect our netminder. I hate it when the D goes pylon in our end. Give J-Ho a rest for a couple of games, that gives J-Mac a chance to shine, and keep an eye on Ozzie ..... he's lurking in the background with an evil little grin on his face.

Thanks for yet another awesome GDT, HT! We are fortunate here on LGW!! Here's why the Wings looked good to me and, imho, won on Saturday..... they played the boards in both ends instead of floating around like a bunch of pylons, they kept their heads up and avoided injurious hits, they shot the frikkin puck, and they didn't let the officiating bother them. Do it again, and the core will cry. Wings win 5-2.

Well, I, for one, feel crappy about their crappy performance in another late season crappy game that doesn't really mean crap, with a bunch of crappy Nucks fans waving crappy Canada flags, pissing off all the crappyLGW fans that buy into this crap.
