Nailed it yesterday with a 4-3 shoot out win. Let's see....that makes my predictions about.....12% correct. TooToo shows us again that he is home with the Wings. Gordie Howe hat trick. 3 goals early for the Wings, answered by a single Star goal, and one more for good measure by the Wings. 4-1. Not a single Wing is injured in the making of this hockey game.

I hope they boys aren't lazy and don't suck like they did on Saturday. Man, they stunk the place up! Here's to a little spring in their skates and some hitting, for Pete's sake. I did say "I think I'm pretty much done with them" or something to that effect, so in that sense you are completely correct. I'm a hipocrate or liar in your eyes. Spending money because of them, I suppose is true, but they aren't getting any of it, which was my whole point. I eat at resteraunts throughout the baseball season and it doesn't help the MLB or Tigers in any way. And if I spend money in any way this season that directly benefits the NHL or Wings, I'll post it so that you can be 100% right. But it won't happen. OOOOOkaaayy....but I mentioned money. Time and emotion is not money. The Red Wings and the NHL will have no way of knowing if I watch, but neither will benefit monitarily from me watching tonight....but Cheli's Chili's will.

Fantastic GDT, Mike! I feel a little slimy. I was so mad about the lockout I was swearing off all things hockey and NHL. No support from me! Going to Cheli's Chili in Clinton Twp. to watch the game with some folks from here. I will stand strong and not directly support either side monetarily. No merchandise or games as a protest. Back on topic... Both teams rusty because of no exhibition games and short training camp. It will alternate between comical and nerve wracking. TooToo impresses his critics here and not one wooden whistle is heard. Wings prevail and win 5-3.

Dang it. Here I am getting all excited about hockey. I said I wasn't going to. And I really meant it. And now, like a little kid, I'm getting all excited about hockey after I (we) have just been robbed again. I feel kinda dirty....but excited. Speedy recovery, boys!

Voted no. I agree with Jonz96. Can't speak for anyone else, but I think they have alienated a LOT of fans this time. IMHO this lockout will keep a lot of fans from coming back. Voted no because another lockout will surely kill the sport. I've been watching hockey since the 70's and have been on many roller-coasters with the Wings. I'm pretty much done with these douchenozzles. All of em. I don't really care if they get it figured out. If I watch any games at all, it will most definitely NOT be my number 1 priority as it has been in the past. I won't be giving the NHL any of my money this year. That trickles down to the Wings and then the players. I don't care. I am angry and bitter that the sport I love above all others has taken this road again.....I wouldn't let anyone or anything else in my life threat me this s***ty. I hate that I am reduced to this, but I can't allow myself to be treated this badly again. Bastards.

I think I'm done with the NHL. I love the Wings, but I am completely disgusted that we are having bak-to-back lockouts. Fans are clearly not as important as greed. So much is wrong with hockey today, it's just not worth the trouble anymore.....this coming from a fan of over 40 years.

Even though the OP is prolly trollin, I can see his/her point. It is so very frustrating to see the Wings seemingly give a lackluster showing in this series. What can shake the boys up for the next 3 games? I say hire 2 players form the old Avs rivalry to post a video on the youtubes. Have Claude and Patty reenact the Monty Pytho scene...."I fart in your general direction, you wipers of other people's bottoms." That'll fire em up.....lol.

Well, it's not really over yet, is it? As a fan, I don't give up until the Wings are actually eliminated. I'm going to save my theories for change until the boys are on the golf course. And that is not a given, imho. I think they are going to get inspired. And burn the freakin house down.

I think the Wings will be allowed to win tonite. I think Uncle Gary is having the Zebras do everything they can to ensure this series goes to 7 games. It will be just like comparing games 1 and 2. First game: looking a little lazy and practically sucking. Second game: Owned the Preds. Third game: Rinse and repeat first game. Fourth game........
