I like what they're doing, but have this gut feeling, that they'll be thrashed in the first playoff round. because of this inconsistency and lack of experience. I hope I'm wrong, but they have the "young inexperienced team" written all over them...

I personally don't get the whining about that. that Kulemin is a baby who doesn't fight is his choice. it doesn't mean he wears a lady's skirt that turns all guys around him into gentlemen who don't hit. if you're on the ice you are subject to get your a* served once in a while. if Leafs fans need examples of sucker-punches and a*hole behavior they should look no further than Domi and Tucker. and really stop whining. Gleason isn't really OK to go for a guy who is everything but enforcer, but let's not make too much out of it. it's hockey, things like that happen in a scrum.

are you imputing that "this is not the year" (when the Leafs will win the Cup) this painting stuff for teenage kids is lame, whatsoever, but I usually don't miss opportunities to have some fun with Maple Laughs. this definitely is a good laugh...

I wouldn't mind Conklin. he knows the organization and should fit quickly which is all Wings need now. Clemmensen aint' bad either. not sure about Lalime. seems cheap and he's not really a bad goalie. if he only knew to save half-rink softies...

I do feel pity for those fans who actually are passionate and not blindfolded. man, it's tough to be a fan of a team that is simply a perennial disaster. on the other hand... the best part about Maple Laughs management is that they don't even have balls to do Penguins/Blackhawks and suck badly for 3-4 consecutive years and then build a cup capable team from scratch. it's not like I did approve the league making it that easy to have a serious shot, but since it's working every team is free to go this way. every single except Maple Laughs of course, because they're too proud to hit the rock bottom and will rather continue dwelling slightly above this bottom for decennias...

add Kindl to the list of best. considering he's still adapting, this was an awesome game as for the worst... Franzen was bad but he's far from Ericsson who was absolutely brutal...

it's not that bad as I though it'd be. and thanks god it's not some baby blue like "we all know which team has" other than that... I couldn't actually care less about this event. the league needs this for its marketing, fine, but please wake me up when it's over.

bad thing: Nick Lidstrom will not have some rest. and I'd rather have him spare some forces for Cup Finals. he's uberhuman but it's still 40 so every day off is better than some stupid popularity contest. good thing: the rest of the guys get some days off. if I had a choice I'd rather enjoy my All Star Game in June when my Wings face whomever wins the East I'd rather sit at home, watch a movie or take my kid to swimming pool or cinema, than take the flight, stay outside my house for a couple of days and above all have to endure some Marc-Andre Flurry giving interviews like he was, I dunno, quality goalie or something like that...

absolutely not. I mean: I wholeheartedly disagree. playing field is level for everyone and rules were same for all and known from the very beginning. hence the situation Devils are in is completely Lamiorello's fault. and the league shouldn't be doing anything about that because if NHL decides to adjust some rules to help "dig" the Devils off their hole - then it's cheating towards the 29 other GMs who iced teams within the same salary cap limit. Lou is probably playing this game hoping the league recognizes his misery and adjust the cap space accordingly. but I most certainly hope he's not gonna get the free ride.

amen to these words of truth. truth being said, I find it difficult to blame people for having too much of the ridiculous media hype around Sindy. I can't stomach it despite not living in America and thus not being directly exposed to the very media. it's not his fault but it still doesn't make me happy when hockey media orgasms about Crosby's simplest fart, whike talented guys like Staal, Sharp or Briere are completely ignored. and I won't even begin with Semin or Backstrom, because that would be too much... at the end of the day - I do agree with you, but can't blame people ripping him or his hype.
